  1. Any modification to the housing needed?
  2. I should be able to build a BIG line kit fairly easy, I have a Parker hose store close. Does anyone have the specifics on the fittings? obviously the hose is 1/2" :-)
  3. Will this be useful with the mechanical set up as well? I am assuming the mechanical setup can still use the stock filter/housing? or does it bypass the stock setup all together?
  4. Yes factory mounted currently
  5. 1/2” the whole way?
  6. What size are the big pumps?
  7. If everything surrounding the DDRP is stock, is it limiting the DDRP/fuel pressure? Would it be beneficial to increase fuel line size? And what other benefit that would also be beneficial when I upgrade from the DDRP to either a more powerful mechanical or electric pump should I do?
  8. So I just need to decide which fuel system it appears. I am torn between mechanical and electric...
  9. Haha that will make my torn seat images look concours! Hahahaha
  10. This is exactly what I did. Enabled me to get in there with compressed air and the vacuum and clean it all out too.
  11. I have been reading up on mechanical pumps, what is the synopsis here on them? I dig the philosophy, but of course real life and philosophy differ. i am going to do a fuel system sooner than later, trying to decide which route. Likely won’t go more than a 75hp injector and a small turbo.
  12. I have a spare set of seats, not in great shape, but thinking about tearing them down for a reform/re upholster job. Maybe I will powder coat everything metal before this.
  13. Is there a relationship between fuel pressure and boost? My truck idles at 17psi, but will dip to 8-9 on a hard run. Is this having an effect on boost numbers? I only seem to get to 15-18 stock and even with the edge on (comp not currently tapped) pretty rare that it touches 20psi. Boost elbow or plugged manifold don,t seem to change anything.
  14. Mine have 350k miles on them, they are TIRRRED
  15. Everyone’s passenger seat looks like that, :-)
  16. Worked a little on my interior today too. Passenger and drivers side seat bottoms are the same Incase I was the last one to find that out.
  17. Here is a current shot of my truck, those 35’s wear things out too fast
  18. It drove me crazy, everything was right , “should be fine with the edge off” but even with it turned off it would not get out of its own way.
  19. When I did my vp and was not going to retap the pump I coiled up the wires (including the ground wire for the edge comp) truck would run and drive, but it would fall on its face at 3-5 psi. I don’t know the wiring of the quadzilla but I felt like an idiot when I figured it out. good luck hope you find it soon
  20. Does anyone know if the front brace (held on by 2 bolts on each side) is only for manual seats? I have power seats (driver and passenger side) in the truck. The truck came with a spare set as well which the passenger side is manual and it is the only seat with the front brace. It’s located right behind where the bar is to release the latch on the manual seat. Maybe to create stiffness for the manual pins to release?
  21. So I have a spare set of seats and Console/Armrest. I don't want to change the whole seat portion, am hoping I can just pull the armrest/console off and swap them. DOes anyone know if the two big phillips screws where the armrest pivots will allow me to just pop that piece out and switch them?
  22. thank you Dave, I will do this, this weekend
  23. How does this set up tow? I guess you aren't quite as hilly as the PNW but you are still similar to what I want to build.
  24. approx how much oil are you using per terminal, and what method are you using to apply it? Cables clamped on the batteries or remove them to apply?
