  1. I am real need of new headlights of some sort but am not really which route to go. I saw the thread about the retrofits of the projectors into the stock housing but and running HID with them. I like the throw of light side to side that the hid have by I can really get any info on what kind of distance I will see with them. Is there anyone that has gone the sport light conversion route then switch over to the HID and projectors. Just trying to get best bang for my buck.
  2. I have the older style of high idle kit and the other day that I was diving and got a p0113 code. Pulled the code and found out that it was the IAT temp voltage was to high. I tired with two different code readers and couldn't clear the code. I pulled my high idle kit off and plugged the factory harness back into the sensor and was able to clear the code and have gotten the code back. Is there anyway that I would be able check to see if I have a short of some sort in my wiring or check the switches? Also from time to time I would select the 6 cylinder and then it would switch over to the 3 cylinder high idle with out me selecting it. Would like to have my high idle back up and running.
  3. I think that I was going to buy a scan gauge so I could clear and trouble shoot codes but now I think that I am going to buy the ob2 mx scan tool so that I have the ability to read gm also. Does it tell you what the code is in the app or do you still have to look it up?

  5. This is where I would like to mount mine also. Could you have the switch in one location and the board in another? LIke my isspro pryo amp box?
  6. I am interested one also. Will it have the same features as the old one with 6 and 3 cyclinder high idle along with the mpg fooler?
  7. So do you need four switches or can you just get away with 3 and by pass the ecm or would you loose the ability to fource high idle when the truck is warm?
  8. I was getting somewhere between 19-21 when I first bought bought my truck 120k miles ago. Now I am getting 14-16. I would like to know what I can do to get it back to where it was. I am running a comp as a ez. So I am going to try and tap the pump and see if I can get the mpg to come back up with that. I am also running 265/70/17 and and wieght of the tire and wheel is the same as the 265 that I was running before. I am lost at what I could do to help.
  9. I have been looking at a 100 micron or less inline filter that I can run with jic fittings. I like the cleaner look of the jic fittings over the pipe thread.
  10. One of the only other reason that I am looking at going a different route is because my factory one is starting to leak around the factory fuel heater plug.
  11. Mike do you know where the vacuum line goes into the cab on gas engine, I am lost on where to find it on a hemi engine?
  12. One thing that I would like to see happen to the vp pumps is for them to have a bigger inlet insted of the 12mm to go up to the 14mm like the return line that the P7100 pumps.
  13. Thanks for the ideas, I think that I am going to go with the vulcan set up and get rid of the factory setup of together. Its doesnt get that cold where I live, and I am sure that there is alot of guys that are running in colder climates with airdog and fass filter units straight to there vp with out any problems.
  14. I am thinking of running a 100 micron or something along those line in front of my raptor pump. I am running the standard screen that they send with the pump but I think that if I run a finer filter before the raptor that if will help keep it running quieter. Do you thing that its worth wild?
  15. I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my folk 2004 heater controls this is on a gas engine if that makes a difference. When they try to switch it from defrost to the floor or to the head vents, I cant get any air to come out. I am try to find out what might be the problem. I know that on my 2nd gen that the vaccum pump help controls the ac/heater door. Any ideas?
  16. I like the glacier for the reason being that it has the fuel heater. One of the concern that I have with a filter on the frame rail is the ground clearance.
  17. I am looking to put a after market filter set up on my truck and would like to get rid of the factory set up. If anyone has pictures that they could post that would be helpful.   19. I am look for a picture of 2002 map sensors. I bought a comp but I think that its has 2002 map sensor instead of the 2001 that I need.
  20. That is what I am thinking, I check the valve lash today and they all fell with in spec. Man I am not looking forward to having to buy a scan gauge when money is tight.
  21. Yep I check my tire pressure like clock work about twice a week or so.
