  1. just keep cranking? i feel like im getting no where and am going to eventually ruin a lift pump, injection pump, starter, batteries or the engine as a whole
  2. ive done it all, slightly cracked, 2-4 turns loose. like i said it just doesnt seem like its getting enough pressure to the injectors
  3. thank you all for the help. i just got back inside from trying to bleed it for an hour and no luck. i did get fuel to lines 1 and 3 which is a plus, but its just not high enough pressure i think..at one point it started hiccuping like it wanted to but then stopped.then after that i couldnt get any fuel out of line 3, a slight dribble/flow from line 1 and line four was getting the most, but still not spraying out. i am getting high pressure fuel at the injection pump (it sprays everywhere when you loosen the banjo bolt.

  5. sadly, i dont have a gauge on this truck, just a low pressure warning light. ive been wanting to get one but this is #3 out of my 3 cummins and doesnt get driven much, and it all stock so unless a raptor completely fails it shouldnt have a problem supplying fuel. you just blew it down into the filler neck?

  7. that was my next thought. can i spray a light mist over the intake runner or do i need to put the horn back on for sure, i tr y to keep them as tight as i can while still getting fuel out because it does start to spray all over. i just put a airdog on my truck in the description and one bump to clear the lines out into a container, one ore bump while it was hooked up, crank for about 5 seconds and she fired right up

  10. pour out of where? dumped what? sorry im not understanding. ive primed these trucks dozens of times and never had an issue until now
  11. when i took it off my other truck all i removed was the fitting going into the filter housing and the bolts holding it on the bracket. and then walked over and put the fitting in the back of the filter housing and clipped on the quick release fitting. so not fittings were removed out of the lift pump itself dripley- i remember last time when i had to take the pump off to change the tappet cover gasket it took FOREVER to start but it finally did. but this time seems longer than before and like i said im not getting any fuel to 1,2,3 lines even after a dozen key bumps and 10+ 10 second cranks
  12. the raptor is just a pump, you still use your factory set up. just a beefed up version from factory
  13. i have checked for leaks, there are one. i am getting a weird sucking noise when the lift pump is running. its not constant but it sounds like there is air in the filter housing area, but i cant get it to not make that sound no matter how many times i bleed everything. i cant say i noticed it when the pump was on my other truck
  14. well, i put in another vp44 off a perfectly fine running truck and after installing and trying to bleed im getting the same problem. fuel out of 4 and 5 but not even a dribble out of 1,2,3. im pretty stumped at this point. this was a perfectly running truck until i put on my raptor 100, now it wont start.
  15. only back down i have set it my egt at 1350* but on lvl 3 i didnt get a warning light showing that i hit that limit. and remember. i only drive around on lvl3. when i want to let it loose then i bump it to lvl5. i will put wiretap as low as possible and do a couple runs. im confused on why canbus fueling wouldnt be maxed out regardless of wiretap as i thought they worked somewhat independently. did you happend to see what the last part of the data log looked like when i had it on lvl 5? if that graph is from one of the fitst two pulls (which im pretty sure it is as my boost is low and my egts arent high) then im not sure why canbus isnt maxed because i had it on lvl 3 with no wiretap
  16. im just confused because it has only happend once out of the dozens of pulls with the quad. i just looked and my fuek stretch was at 1800. i thought i had changed it to 1600. any way you could pull that data for me @Me78569 i tried to record my phone with my gauges on it with my fiances phone but looking back at the footage you cant see anything. i know my egts only got to around 1250* on lvl3. they got over 1500* on lvl 5 quickly. i was trying to look at my fuel pressure more than anything since i just installed the air dog. even with the air dog im idling at 15-16psi and dropping to 12psi at wot. id be much happier idling at 18-19 and dropping to 15
  17. @Me78569 finally finished getting my air dog hooked up. here is my data. i believe i did 2 pulls on lvl 3 and 2 pulls on lvl 5. i noticed some slight popping on my last pull (timing?) its never done it ever before in my hundreds of pulls with this truck. if you could please take a look at the data and let me know what you see i would really appreciate it! iQuad-2018-06-29-09.48.181435713432.csv
  18. no worries. but ya i can see the cost being almost the same or more all said and done. like i said i did it for the ecm on my 93 and only cost me like 115$. i looked alllll over the internet and only found 2 being sold on ebay for $400+ dollars and called about a dozen different places and only one place could find one at a dealership in Michigan i believe. they had one in stock
  19. I was just seeing if anyone had done something like that. Maybe it was common and I never heard of it. wasn't just going to instantly send my money off. Thanks moparman! Guess it will be awhile until the ol girl runs again
  20. why do you say that? i can usually spot a scam pretty easy. ive done this exact thing with my 93 cummins ecm. sent it out to a rebuilder just like this. came back and worked great
