  1. With the 15psi spring that came with the pump it ended up being 17psi at idol and 15 at wot on my pump when I installed it. I put the 17psi springIn because it put me at 19psi at idol and 17psi at wot, which I prefer. Try installing the pump and take it for a drive. If your not happy you can put the 17psi spring in and you should be good.
  2. It came with the manual tow mirrors. I was going to do the upgrade but didn't have time to piece everything together. Trucks is pain to drive with no passenger mirror and the camper on. Plus it can get costly. Been hunting the wreckers to find everything. I'll eventually change them
  3. There was when I last changed my mirror out. You'll have to get the power mirror nob for the door to adjust them and a new climate control panel that has the button to turn on the heat for the mirror. I know kool view sells the mirrors that are a bit cheaper then the factory and they'll plug right in.
  4. I know that it was marked on my airdog when I got it. Right on the tag. It said it was set to 15 psi + or - 1psi. I pulled the return line fitting off and put in the other spring that was sent with the pump.

just found this thread as well. from "oil country" calgary alberta
  6. Like said above, I like running a boost gauge just in case the boost gets to high and cause a blown head gasket. It also shows if theres a leak somewheres, and show how the air filter is doing. Just this week i noticed the gauge seemed to have a slower climb in boost and only peaked at about 20-25 psi. My filter was clogged up from all the dirt roads I've been driving. Changed the filter and now back to 30-35 psi and a quicker build of boost. Guess its more of a maintenance thing for me
  7. For me it all depends how cold it is outside. I've seen it go up to 125*F and a low around 90*F when it's really drops temp outside
  8. The smaller one has a smaller surface area but I'm sure it will work just as good. Throw a Outwears pre filter on it, help make it last longer and repel some water that might splash on it
  9. on the baldwin site theres a store locator and if you punch in your area code theyll tell you some places by you that supplies them. im sure wally world dosent... as for the locking gass cap, i havent had much luck with them. tried one on the truck and the jeep and both ended up gettin a check engine light poping up.. it just could of been a cheap cap?? id try a locking gass door.
  10. i go to the local cummins shop too. they always seem to have the best price.... i changed the seals in the vac pump.... $135 CAN for the kit from dodge. went to cummins, $15 CAN... couldnt believe it!
  11. good to hear. apprecite the response. just curious
