  1. Wikipedia strikes again... From EPA website concerning the auto/appliance refrigerant Freon (R134a aka HFC-134a) Can I vent HFC-134a refrigerant? It is illegal under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act to knowingly vent substitute refrigerants during any service, maintenance, repair or disposal of an appliance. http://www.epa.gov/ozone/title6/608/faq.html#q2 enforcing the law is another discussion

  4. I love my golf. I drive 84 miles round trip to work, I get 50-52 mpg going the speed limit of 65. It's only a 5 speed (wish it had one more gear) but if you could find one for a decent price BUY IT, you could always sell it in a metro area and make a little $$$

  6. Not sure if anyone would ever find out but I'm pretty sure it illegal to discharge any freon to atmosphere.

  8. So should I stop using PS and switch to 2-stroke? What ratio do you suggest? I have a 2002 VW diesel for my DD and use the PS in it also.
  9. At what temp do the EGT's start affecting the pistons and it there a duration for these high temps that make it worse?
