I need help with tuning my quadzilla 4K for my truck. Truck has 188/220 cam,103 springs,7x13 injectors, pushrods and studs and t4 manifold but I can’t figure out tunes for my setup it pops at higher rpms and sometimes even shuts the truck off. I have a brand new fass 165 set to 20psi and 15 at wot. Any help will be appreciated.

On my 04.5 I've been having some coolant and trans temp issues. Coolant temps go up to about 200-210 and trans temps get to about 160-175. I've replaced the water pump,180 degree thermostat, a new fan clutch and the trans temp is reading from the pan. I know the trans temps aren't bad but it normally doesn't get above 150-155 on a 90+ degree day. Coolant on the other hand never got above 180 unless i was working the truck hard. After a 15-20 min drive is when things start to heat up, stays there for a few minutes and then creeps slowly back to normal. And this is with highway, city and or just idling in neutral. Doesn't matter. I don't have any coolant or trans fluid mixing and I'm not having any changes in levels from the trans or coolant. Could I have a blockage in my heat exchanger on the side of the block? Don't want to go through another transmission build or engine for that matter right now. Advice?

Hello Everyone, What a wonderful forum this is very helpful and informative. Looking for some input on an oil consumption issue I with a 2007 5.9. I bought the truck used with 160,000 miles on it. At first there were no issues at start or running except it used about 1 quart of oil per 500 miles. Lately though on cold start I noticed a flutter for the first 5 - 10 seconds then it runs fine again. The exhaust and input side of the turbo are dry with no evidence of an oil leak. Also, there are no oil leaks from anywhere on the engine so the oil is definitely going out the exhaust either by the rings or from a valve seal leak. Does anyone have experience with bad valve seals leading to high oil consumption? I have read this is a possibility but am afraid it is a bigger problem. I am planning to do an inspection of the valve seals and depending on what I see a compression test to gather further information. Thanks

I found a daycab 1995 Freightliner FL70 with a 5.9 12v cummins and a eaton 9 speed transmission. Can you guys list any reason I should/should not buy this compared to a Cat 3216 motor or was is 3126... The Cummins only has 120k miles on the truck as well! I'm going to be pulling a 50 foot car hauler 3-4 cars and a 28ft container, but mostly for the car hauler.Thanks.Oh, and do all the mods swap to this truck that the regular road trucks do?
