I current have an Edge Comp box and o just wanted to find out what other people were running on their rigs. I'm pretty happy with the comp box but I wasn't sure if anyone else preferred another tuner. The biggest thing that I really care about it overal reliability and on the fly tuning. I know there are lots of other forums online where people debate about this but I want to see what y'alls opinions are. I could be possibly be swayed to switch.

ok i just got this 99 dodge 3500 it has 250000 miles on it...runs real good it has an old edge ez, it only plugs into the vp44 and the map sensor. every once and a while it goes dead pedal around 70. i changed the map sensor and apps it was running better and did not go dead pedal for a while then i ran it out past 80 when i coasted back to 55 it went dead pedal again. could this old edge box be causeing this? i know it could be the vp44 but i dont want to think so i took off the edge box today. and have a scangauge in the mail

I have a 02" Dodge 3500 w/ Auto trans. no mods pure stock. Would like to increase MPG & Power . Have been looking at the Quadzilla w/pulse & Edge w/ attitude, like the clean look of the digital gauges built in to the controller/monitor. Are there anyone running one of these ?? do they increase MPG.... Do they monitor fuel pressure

Hey guys I bought a used edge comp last week & got it on the truck filled up with fuel and started driving..... only been a little more than half throttle 4 times and so far im about 80 miles short on this half tank of fuel....Looking for opinions here bad fuel ( i fill up at the same station every 2 weeks and this is where i get the best milage from).... winter fuel .... I wouldnt think so but maybe.... still a month early for that here it usually happens mid october...or unhook the pump tap next tank and see whats going on there... No fuel in the oil im checking that every 3rd day at the fire house after it sits 8-9 hours I changed the oil 2 weeks ago with the same ole rosmella.. still clean after 2 weeks usually black by now.no leaaks anywhere.. It runs good, real good, nice smooth power not as agressive as thte quad xzt+... I lknow no one can give a definate answer just looking for ideas and opinions.. Thanks guys

I found a guy with an 02 edge comp for sale. Just wondering if anybody knows if it'd work in my truck. I plan to call edge but thought I'd see if anybody here knew first.

Hey. So today I was stomping on the gas a little just getting a feel for new injectors as well as the TC+VB and other stuff had done recently. Seemed pretty good - good throttle response, no slipping and really grabs in 3/4th but I get home and doing some other work - and I notice the VP44 TAP has come off. (I have a stealth plate and the wire that runs from the tap to the EDGE module has come off - basically only attached to the edge now and no longer completing the circuit to the VP44. Yet power is still really good ?? So - guessing that the edge doesn;t constantly send/receive info the vp44 ? Basically once its set on Level 5 - it stays on level 5 - and now the TAP is gone it still is able to have the appropriate fuel delivered - I just won't be able to drop down to levels 1,2 as far as fuel/timing go etc ??

Just spent the afternoon installing most of the Edge w/Attitude on my 2002 Dodge. Most of it was pretty easy but getting to some of the sensor plugs was not real easy, and one of them was hidden under the LP pump.I did not hook up the sensors for the VP-44, transmission temp and EGT. Ran out of time to drill the exhaust manifold for the EGT and will do it later. I have a 6 speed manual tranny so not real worried about the transmission temps. As well I never tow anything (yet) so feel that the temps are fine. As for the VP-44 wire, want to drive it in the #1 setting for a while and see how it does. As I do not tow am not looking for lots more power and the wire to the VP is what gives you the extra power levels.Drove the truck and left it on the #1 power setting. Did not buy this rig for extra power but for the information that it give me like the LP fuel pressure and other engine reading that you do not get with the stock gauges. After the temps came up (very nice having a digital temp gauge) gave it a bit of boost and the gauge reads it just fine. Only got up to about 18 psi boost but on level pavement could not hold my foot into it very long either. The LP pressure was ok (not OK) and reads 10-12 most of the time. At WOT it does go down to 7-8 for a bit then recovers. Main reason for the post is, with my LP pump pressure where I feel is right on the bottom border of where it needs to be to keep the VP-44 properly lubed, anyone have any suggestions on how long I am safe driving it like this? Would like to get a FASS or other better pump/filter system but did not win the lotto last weekend, so still being a bit Scottish (otherwise known as thrifty) with my funds. Thanks, FT
