Lol, yeah folks would rather spend 2-5K on mods and not 2000-3000 on a basic 7-9K lb hoist to make life a whole lot easier if one does a lot of wrenching. Priorities I guess. , I paid just over 2K for my used 7K lift and that was installed price to boot. Best tool I have ever gotten, I use the heck out of it. I have saved that alone and then some in Chiropratic bills, laying on a creaper is the worst thing ever on my back.

because I sure hate turning wrenches in 0*F weather and snow blowing.

Ha HA that was the better part of 10 years of my career pulling wrenches working out of a service truck for different companies. And most of the work happens when it is below zero or really hot, always the extremes that bring out the worst in equipment and never next to a wind break or shade. :ahhh:

I would love to but I got no where to install it at... I would have to pour a concrete pad and put it outside which would make it a seasonal lift because I sure hate turning wrenches in 0*F weather and snow blowing.

I can fix that. How about heated concrete floor, r 38 ceiling, r 25 walls and heating that runs on used oil?
