Oil Pressure gauge

Well It turns out that my Oil Pressure and MAP Sensors was the defective 5 volt source.  And the replacement sensors are not working.  I replaced the aftermarket MAP Sensor, with the old OEM and it started to work again.  I just bought a new Oil Pressure sensor from a member here and will install it next week.  I had 4.98 volts from Red to Black wire on both MAP and Oil Pressure plug.

Didn't ohm the sensor.  Sorry

I have a second gauge screwed in at the filter second plug.

Did the OEM oil pressure Sensor solve your problem?

Nope it did not.  Bummer!!  Back to the wires.   I saw the gauge twitch once.  So I'm thinking sensor wire now.  Back to the drawing board.

Make sure you have continuity between plug and ECM, Power is pin 11 , Ground pin 10, and sensor pin 8

Yes I have 4.98 volts at the plug so the sensor wire is next on the list.  The only good news is it is 12 inches from the ECM Plug.  Still have to pull the harness to get too it.

Yep, it took me awhile to figure out what I needed to check to make sure I didn't have an intermittent open in the circuit, I removed the ECM plug and made sure I had good continuity while flexing wires between sensor plug and ECM pin holes.
