My truck has had a long drawn out problem that has taken almost two years to get to the root of the problem. It will take to much time to tell the story, let me just say I have changed everything on the exterior of the eng. 3 times and I mean everything, you name it I changed it 3 times, the head is totaly rebuilt off another truck and wiring harness and the miss is still there. It only starts missing when the eng. temp. starts warming up or ambient temp is around 95 plus. I and others belive it has to be a cracked piston or something related. So if I take my pistons and put them in another block, I dont wont to be rewriting this story.

I have followed your trials with your engine. The only thing that got me on this was the "bored" part,Call Frieghtliner w/your Engine# and see what a reman costs. that would come w/a cummins warranty. Cummins Part # for my engine is 3403133RX $4200
