After the Fire

You would not belive the heat involved, words cant describe it. Aluminum wheels melted into three foot circles one inch thick, eng., blocks melted out of the frame, nothing but the cam and lifters on the ground. Absolutely nothing left but ash, cows turned to ash. Propane tanks blowen to h___ and back, wraped around trees like horse shoes. Huge pine trees with nothing but stumps, the ones still standing look like tooth picks. A real feeling of emptyness.

It missed us by two miles, I know that sounds like a lot but with the winds blowing 30-40 mph it could go anywhere. It's still only 70% contained, ended up travling 25 miles long and 19 miles wide. 1900 homes lost and only two died. One is to many but, one guy had to go back for his tools, told his wife I am right behind you, she didnt see him and knew that's what he did, sure nuf that's where they found him. It started on the 4th and there still fighting it.
