Need a help with Raptor pump...

Recommended Posts

Dave, Exactly what I am planning on doing. Did you use a heavy duty relay or normal version? How long has this been in operation? I am getting about 12-15 months out of these Raptor's and getting tired of swapping out pumps. Thx, FT

The AD II came with the compete wiring harness including fuse and relay. I can see what it is tomorrow while its daylight. All I had to do was install it. It has been on the truck 2 1/2 to 3 years. No issues with it so far.

You sure are having better luck than I am with it then! Thx, FT

I am glad I fought mine back when I did. It seems the problems started with ownership change.

Well.... I have one of the older units and once the first one puked, the replacements seem to last only a year and change then burn up. Would totally agree about the new company. I called them when the first pump puked and they were not only not helpful, but bordering on abusive with their comments. If I had the choice of having to deal with their sales rep I talked with or riding a bike, the bike would get the nod. He was a jerk... Only after reading online that if you had an old pump that Pure Flow would handle the warranty did I contact them. They have been wonderful to deal with on the replacements... just wish that we could find a pump that would last.
