This is a wonderful feature because now it covers both the acronym and the actual words to the search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. Give you an idea since starting the site up on thee new software Google has walked 10,000 URLs already and already placed the site up with in about 7 days and ranking are already improved every day. So starting from zero and working back up again.

As for the dotted bar I could disable that in the skin settings...

About 325-350 roughly. Huge drop from nearly 1,200 per day. The difference of that was the hits provided from search engines.

Then the change in Google Analytics. (Ekk! ) But I knew that was going to happen.

 

Every robot, spider or anything that walks the site typically looks at the robots.txt file in the root of the forum.

Notice the second line there is a "sitemap" so every search engine get a full site when they visit M73M.com.

Since very few acronym are considered search worthy its always best to spell out everything. So when I saw this function of the acronyms I was jumping for joy. I looked into the dot line part I can fade that back more or remove it completely.

Not an acronym but a term I used to see a lot years ago but seems to have faded was the

 

Fummins,  a Cummins repowered Ford

Fummins (Cummins powered Ford) and Chummins (Cummins powered Chevy) are still used a bit.
