I'm adding a fuel pressure gauge. Other gauges already in "A" pillar are trans, boost and egt. Since 2005. All the light wires are from one place (not sure yet from where). But wire sure looks real small to me. Basic Question on wiring... To make sure I'm ok on this or any wire project...add up how much elec going to be going through and then select wire size based on how much going thru wire?

So I was fortunate enough to be given a set of Bully Dog 100hp injectors by a fine fellow a few weeks ago. He did a turbo swap and the mechanic convinced him he needed to get new injectors. He replaced them and has since sold the truck, still retaining the old injectors and a factory set also, so he donated them to me. Knowing Bully dog has been out of the production biz of injectors for a while I promptly made a call to DAP. I spoke with Dallas to which he provided me some great information and service. I sent them to DAP (arrived on Friday) to be tested and verified. They are a traditional Bosch body which appears to be in good shape so DAP is going to test and…

View Advert 2001 Quadzilla XZT+ Has the standard tunes on it right now. Purchased this spring (2019) to replace my Van Aaken box that had a failure in the harness. Found a replacement harness and no longer have a need for this box. Was installed in the cab under the dash so it’s never gotten wet or full of dirt, harness has no rub spots or any other damage on it. Three option selector switch is with it as well as all the documentation. Make me a reasonable offer. Willing to drive it down to Utah to have a different tune package put on it if you want as well. Thanks! Advertiser TJH …

This is a small improvement over the stock bumper, I am thinking that if I hit a deer out here at least my truck will not be hurt. It did lower the front end down a little, not sure if I want to get a leveling kit, readjust the headlights or just build a stout rear bumper to compensate? It still has a few minor things that needs to be done to it, not too bad for a home built bumper and at least it is on.

There is several ways of getting a boost gauge hooked up. I took the easiest way. I got a 3/4" to 1/2" steel bushing. Then used a 1/2" to 1/8" brass bushing. There is a pipe plug right next to the fuel filter. There is several stories about how to do you pyrometer probe. I'm going to explain my method. I center punched the manifold on the rear port where I wanted to drill my hole. I greased my drill bit and drilled slowly with a shop vacuum next to the bit. After drilling I used both a magnetic screwdriver and a Q-tip to pick up any metal chips. Then I greased my tap and tapped my hole. I checked the manifold again in the same way as above. Then install your probe as …
