  1. Powered by (2) group 27 AGM 100AH deep cycle batteries. Like all mobility scooters it runs on 24 volts. Top speed of 10 mph, range of up to 20 miles (reportedly). Can I drop a CTD in there?

Last night I ended up watching some videos on youtube of the new 6.7 Scorpion powerstroke. Most if not all were acceleration videos showing how fast it is. My brother even came to me saying it would beat my truck after he rode in one. So I found a video that showed "when you are passing someone" going from 75-95, I went out and video taped my truck in the exact same conditions. We both were holding steady at 75 then floored it. I spent half an hour getting the videos synced perfectly since he did lag for a second after saying go, I wanted it to be fair so I synced them based on when the speedos started moving. I never care to race or anything, I just thought it woul…

Now normally bugs do not bother me I grew up in the country and we just pretty much expected some bugs there. However the other day I came home to see 4 or 5 yellow jackets flying in and out of my Dakotas truck mirror. I waited till night and shot a liberal dose of raid in there and the next morning this is what I found: There were even more still in the mirror, dead. I am going to have to disassemble it to get the comb out. With that over I went to the back yard for a smoke and there are 3 more combs along my fence, 2 on my gutters, and one up on a window air conditioner. Each comb has about 50 or so yellow jackets swarming around it. Now obviously I can…

I finally got her set up to work out of. It was harder to all that in the afternoon last week in that God awful oppressive heat than it was to shoe horses in that God awful oppressive heat!!!! Anyhow, I downsized a bit. My old trailer was a 6x12 double axle. This one is 6x10 and a single axle. I'm not traveling the highways to work like I used to.........heck, my furthest account is 25 miles one way. If I put on 75 miles with my work trailer a day now, that's a lot. Plus I can keep extra inventory in my garage.I went to the scales today to weigh everything. Combined GVW was 11,420. Both truck axles with the trailer on were 8600lbs give or take a bit. The trailer axle w…

Today was the last day of college. These last 5 days were actually only to listen to a representative from a valve actuator company. I can work there but it is seasonal (spring and fall) and fall is too close to get on. So I am thinking of pushing that whole speil aside. So here are the things I have been thinking about or have seen that sound neat. I actually saw an ad a month ago in colorado specifically for a 12V mechanic for his fleet and it was IIRC, >$20/hr, but I no longer see it :banghead: That leaves: [*]Generator Tech [*]Diesel Tech [*]Windmill Tech [*]Electrician [*]Welder [*]Machinist [*]Hot Shotter [*]Boat Mechanic I…

Lol, my brother in law went last year and got his ultralight license, last fall he had his first crash when taking off. He got up above the tree tops and went to bank out and she came to a dead stop, no power whatsoever! Lol, needless to say, he came down alot quicker than he went up, falling about 60-70 feet. Smashed the plane up a bit so he decided it was a good time to do what he wanted to it, so he rebuilt it from bottom to top and got it back in the air last week. The videos aren't really long but he did a couple fly byes over my place yesterday. Thought some might find it kool

Last week my son and I decided to drive up to the Canadian border..just for the heck of it. So we departed the ranch at about 7AM and stopped in Lewiston for breakfast. At this point we had a choice of taking the 7% grade out of town and remaining on 95, but glancing at the map I locked into 27 out of Washinton. Having drived 95 constantly when you're going north it was the same old, same old. Once on 27 on top of the grade we entered into the most beautiful drive along the Wash. palouse(rolling hills of wheat) that resembled sand dunes as we traveled. It was breathtaking. We slowed through towns that were picture-perfect - small town - just quaint and lovely. Off …

Alright, pretty smart guys on here. I have an off-topic question, this looks like the right area to post it... I want to clean up my used oil storage setup... As you can see, it is a mess.... So... What I am thinking is welding up some racks for the barrels so that I can lay them on their sides. I want a spigot on one of the threaded holes because I like to use that used oil to light brushpiles on fire that I pile up with my bulldozer and on the top I was thinking another spigot but inverted so I can simply open it and stick a funnel in to pour used oil in. What you all think??? Any ideas on what size of threads these are? Is it just pipe thread?

i just figured out why the mopar insignias keep turning red and blue, sweet. i must now strive to keep them all blue, blue we must have blue. i also just recieved a gear head award how cool is that! i'm finally chasing down the old timers around here.:banghead: :cool:they now call me MISTER KOYOTE!!! --- Update to the previous post... maybe the (in the heat of the night) referance was a bit overboard for a national audiance.
