I hope this is not to far out for a post!I am 68 years old, and now have the Diabetes! My blood sugar level had gotten up to 400! Not Good.So I now take the pills to lower my blood sugar, just like everyone else. Now here is my reason to post.I have discovered a product that anyone can get from most health food stores, or asian cusiune store. It is called Palm Sugar or sometimes coconut sugar. It tastes like brown sugar, and not bad.The reason I am using it is: It has a low glycemic index of 33 that means two teaspoons of this sugar is like almost nothing in comparison to regular sugar. It is high in potassium and other stuff, so it is not a people killer.Since I have been …

Do many of you guys have Paypal ? I signed up about 3 years ago but never used my account, never gavea credit card number etc. Reason I did was because my wife had her paypal account using her credit card, then all of a sudden they sent her an email saying in order to use it anymore she had to give a bank account number to become verified. We didn't want to give out personal information like that and we figured why isn't a credit card good enough, they're accepted basically everywhere. So i decided after that not to bother doing my account, and for whatever reason they never made her give a bank account number and she still uses paypal to this day with no issues. I de…

I've been looking at what they're going for, and the prices are all over the place.. I've seen them for $3000-$13000. It's insane, as that price range was for comparable trucks.. My '96 is lightly modded, but very dependable. What do you guys think a good solid number is, that could be expected? It's a '96 2500 SCLB, 4x4, 113k mi., good tires (Michelin 265/75/16). Only power options are cruise, cold AC, and pioneer radio. rubber floor covering (no carpet.) rust in the doors, per usual, and that's about it. Oh, I added Viper keyless entry, brakes, hardware, wheel cyls, drums, cables, etc. Was originally an auto, but I converted to nv4500. engine…

Well Gang... I'm going to make a fun trip to Sandpoint, ID... Just to say I've done it... Never been to Sandpoint or the Canadian Border but I figure it would be fun to just haul up there and wonder around... I've pulled my side racks off and got the topper back on and my carpeted deck and utility draw back in... So I'm ready to travel... (Older pic)

Stumbled upon this by accident a few hours ago, don’t ask :rolleyes:So we see how similar diesel and a pecan are. This shows exactly how diesel fuel works in the engine. The only difference is that the combustion chamber raises diesel fuel to the auto ignition temperature instantly since it is a mist and takes next to no time at all to get mist droplets to absorb the surrounding heat and ignite. This also shows how the oil in nuts can be used as a fuel, since it is very apparent how it has the same characteristics. I was pretty amazed by how much flame it produced and the duration of it, out of just one little pecan.
