Sent DAP 2600.00 in love in a day. Ive been taking this stock new to me truck and just getting it all over with at one time. Man it just keeps adding up, soon I will be able to get in it and go coast to coast free of worries of break downs. It's fun to to see it come along too, the guy that had it put new tires, and interior, dash, new stereo that I'll never listen to unless its am talk show.

Its now Christmas Eve already. Just wanted to take a minute to Wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas! We have a great community here on Mopar1973Man.com and I appreciate everyone for their help, conversation and different views on various topics. It's been pretty quiet here on our little corner of the interweb. Is everyone that busy with the upcoming holidays? If so I get it but I get bored. This is my Facebook. I've been somewhat busy with work but decided to take Thursday off so i could have a little home time to get some things done around here. the wife has been doing her Christmas baking. I've done my best to stay out of the finished baked good but that don't always work out. Lol Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

Is there a reason I can't post replies to threads in the club section? Also, in the vendor section, Quadzilla, in your pinned thread, wanna buy a Quadzilla, the links don't work....

I've been using this app for quite some time. So far I'm really impressed with its ability to keep you on track with maintenance and tracking MPG numbers. I figured I'd bring this up and let people know about the app. https://www.simplyauto.app/ Personal dream I had for the website here was to have the author of the Garage Software to add a maintenance record program to the garage so it would remind owners of up coming thing like oil change, brakes etc. That way as you logged on the site and you would add your mileage to the web site and it would notify of service needed. Also would possibly allow members with permission to view your records to pro…

snow in the UK unusual for this time of year

  10. Started by JAG1,

Colorado has never seen no snow this late in the season and the California needs rain and snow worse than any other time in history. So instead of starting a riot over gas/ diesel engines or anything else you think is better to butter your bread with, why don't we try a little prayer once in awhile. How long's it been since you read the bible or said a little prayer for others and your family? You know prayer accomplished as a team will work wonders, it says so in the good book. We need to stop all this here disease of everyone having a solution and ask for God to help us out of the garbage America has dumped itself into. Truely we are headed for the heap and I belie…

This article is going to be about proper final ratio to the ground and the effects. OPTIMAL FINAL RATIO TO THE GROUND 3.55:1 to 3.73:1 Remember when you have 3.55 axle gears you cannot swap to a larger tire without a huge impact on EGT's and loss of power. Cummins engines are not designed to be cruising at highway speeds at low RPMs. True 3.73 final ratio will be roughly 2,100 RPMs at about 65 MPH. Even what I'm set up for with my own truck with 245/75 R16 is a 3.69:1 final ratio. I'll be using the stock tire size of most trucks which was 31-inch tires. I highly suggest you take a moment and plug in the tires size and gear ratio into this gea…

I've got a complaint I've got to get off my chest. Out working for my crew in McCall - Donnelly. I was head back to town for bits and piece from NAPA. Since the main highway 55 is under construction (repaving) it easier to take the back roads. So I'm nearly back to McCall and Idaho power is doing some power line work. Yes the typical sign out for road work, flagger, etc. But as I was looking up the hill with setting sun wink through the trees. There was no one I can see on the pavement. No cones ore any sign anyone was there. No crew truck nothing. So I'm already gearing down to be cautious but apparently this gal was tuck right along the road edge near the trees but not …

Dunno if anyone else has been watching the trends as of late with the technology going into cars and trucks, but I find it very interesting. I myself am nearly %100 positive that we will see a over take of gas/diesel in the next 10 years by Electric. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180702005572/en/Cummins-Announces-Acquisition-Electric-Hybrid-Powertrain-Provider Cummins is moving a large section of their operations to it. VW built a Electric Peak car that stomped the old records https://mashable.com/2018/06/25/volkswagen-pikes-peak-car/#FGXNO2fxQaqw %25 of the power it took to go up the hill was generated by the …

How's everyone doing weather wise? I used to follow the nationwide stuff a bit closer but have since fallen off. And I don't watch the news because its just negative B.S. CT had an EF0 tornado yesterday (07-18-21). And we are stuck in a shitty weather pattern. We had the more sun this past Saturday, for the shoreline areas, than in the last week-two weeks. Been cloudy, 80s-90s, with dew points around 70-75°F, then severe torrential downpours and thunderstorms for most days. Some areas Saturday picked up 5-6" of rain alone. All the rain formed mid-state and above. I know Mike (@Mopar1973Man) has been in the 110s and up, is that normal fo…

  17. So we planned a camping trip with a friend of mine from work over a month ago. Me and the wife in our camper. Him, his wife and 2 young boys in theirs. Fast forward to a little over a week ago. His 1993 chevy 3500 dually crapped oil all over the road and is now at a shop. Hopefully the 6.5 diesel will be ok. Once he told me about the truck I automatically volunteered to pull his 36' fifth wheel to the campground for him. It's about a 45 mile trip there but I didn't mind. We hooked up my fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter and away we went. Then came back to get our camper. I in no way want to gloat over a good deed but I sure feel good for helping h…

  18. And you don't get what you ordered. Just happened to my neighbor for around $700. Happened to me 3 weeks ago, never getting the item, I called and they said I was about the 36th person to call that day with the same complaint. they figured out how to get your money by having a known secure website for a store and routing the money to an unknown location. Im out 60 bucks and waited for a new card is all. So Please Beware!
