Is this anyone you know????:bang head: If he spent more time sharpening his chain and cutting splitting and stacking……………..he wouldn't have to burn green wood. Wonder what his chimney looks like………………….although most of the smoke wasn't even going up the chimney!!!! Burning green wood must kill brain cells!!!

  5. Having loaded the floor jack & everything but the kitchen sink... I started on my road trip as the light rain turned to snow at my house. As I was hoping I drove West under the rapid East bound storm. Roads were mostly dry... no significant slow downs. Made the trip right on the GPS predictions after deducting my necessary pit stops. There was one interesting experience on the Mass Tpk worth sharing... I was in the right lane with traffic to my left. I was following a mini-van when it seemed something white crossed my lane from left to right... very strange. The next thing I know, guy in front is pulling onto the shoulder. Nice stop actually, didn't take too…

So I took my Uncle out today for lunch, While we were walking into the diner, I was helping him I had another guy behind me and I motioned to move and he waved me off. He even helped hold the door open so I could open the inner door for my uncle. Now my uncle was wearing his WWII hat(he took it off inside), and we sat down and were eating lunch when several people came up and thanked him for his service. The first guy came up with his daughter, and they thanked my Uncle for his service, and he asked where my Uncle served. And with that he said that his father was in Market Garden, with the 101st. About 15 mins later another gentlemen came up (the one that helpe…

Some may consider it, "Just another day." I consider it a day of blessing! Some may see it as work, I see it as security! There is nothing better to me than being able to, "live off the land!" It started out as anything but a hunt. I suppose I could not even call it that! A stroke of grace I should say!Working on my rifle, doing a bedding job, I stopped for a moment to look out the backdoor. There has been a nuisance cat in the area beating our cat up. I just so happened to look up and see it passing through our field. Ha! Well, instead of considering shooting it or a slingshot, I decided that maybe the dogs can have their turn this time.I rally them up and open …

I can't see how the handle is supposed to come out of the socket. I'm giving it to my brother & the handle needs to come out for transport as I'm taking my car. It's an inexpensive "Black Jack" 3T service jack. There's 'something' protruding at the handle sock. I couldn't feel any flats/points like a bolt/. There a stud protruding from the bottom with a cotter pin. I came inside to use the head & it's raining outside the door where I parked it. I'm guessing when the cotter pin is removed, maybe it'll slide up & out but it's been together quite a while... I tried looking for the manual but not happening. I get card games when I Google it. …

After 22 years at Cooper tire, I walked out the door for the last time today. It was a very bittersweet decision ,many months in the making. We have had some land in Northern Michigan for a couple years, and planned on retiring there in 8-9 years. Unfortunately a potential buyout by a Indian company, the Market and Corporate decisions concerning our particular plant (and most U.S. plants) have cast doubt that any of these will survive that long. So Looong story short when they pushed me out of my current job into a job that was taking my pay lower than it was in early '92 we made the decision, it was time.. None of this was in our master plan and I'm sure there will be s…

I had an MS 260 Pro given to me because they dropped a tree on it and it needs a lot of parts to be usable again. Even using cheap Chinese replacement parts I'll be into it around $200 and I'd still need a bar and chain. Not really worth fixing unless maybe I can find a complete one with a bad engine pretty cheap. Any chance someone has a blown up one or maybe knows where one is at for a decent price?

Me and my new wife are heading to Maine tomorrow morning for our honeymoon. Ive spent the last few weeks getting The Pearl ready for the trip. After about a grand for fuel pump, batteries, and heater grid solenoids and wires I feel she's good and ready for another nice trip. But fresh fluids and filters, winter air in the tires LOL , and making sure the heat works!LOL, we're good and set for our trip. Any good stops to make on the way??

Remember when you could buy a vehicle with "MANUAL" window cranks, door locks buttons, seat adjustment levers, mirror adjustment, etc.??? It was a rather "RARE" event that one of those things failed over the life of the vehicle………………………however; if it did it was relatively easy to replace for the average stupid American!!! Not so now!!!Can you even purchase a "new" vehicle with "manual anything"??? If not, why not??? Are we Americans…………..and Canadians………………that effffing lazy now???? I loved the vinyl floors that I "ordered" on my '99. When I ordered my '04.5, I was told I couldn't get them!!! Why????It's no wonder that more and more Americans grow up "fat, drunk, …

Last night MoparMom end up with a severe nose bleed. I rushed her to the hospital at about 3am. The wonderful doctors got control of the bleeding. I'm kind of mental wreck right now but I think you can understand that. Doctor at this point is chalking up to stress and what has been happening last few days. Our neighbor (mail person) is going through a long drawn out divorce case (2 years now!) and we've been helping her get through it. If you don't mind gang would you please offer a few prayers for MoparMom. :pray:I just talked to her on the phone shes doing good and going to try and catch up on some sleep. Been a long night for both of us...
