I have been experiencing dead pedal some times it is as soon as I take off other times I can drive for 30 min before any bucking happens.  I have already replaced the APPS with a new one and it worked fine for about a week or more then it started again.  What could be the cause of this to make the sensor keep going out?

have you checked for trouble codes? The bucking and such could easily be tied to something else. I had a similar issue years back and fuel pressure was the culprit.

If apps is bad you should have a code, check v/ac noise, also fuel pressure when driving, if no codes and ac voltage is low, could be injectors.

My Timbo has been throwing a P0122 since about a year after I bought it from him... in 2010.

It worked fine the first year. It's (is, or at least, was) set dead on the OE voltage. Digging the old one out of whatever box it's found its way into and re-checking the voltage on the Timbo might not be a bad idea, though. :thumb1:

Huh, interesting... I just followed the instructions on the sheet that came with it.

I'll try your way, maybe it'll go away!

Don't set any voltage on Timbo's sensors. More or less look for voltage rise then for it to fall back and take 1/2 turn more from the screw.

That is the same instructions that came with both of mine. Having a little problem with mine, but that is for another thread.
