Installed new torque converter and valve body. Everything worked great for first 600 or so miles. Now, truck will immediately stall out when shifting from park to either reverse or drive. Sometimes can blip the throttle and keep it me dying. No other shifting or searching issues that usually plague these trucks once I can get the truck rolling.

Wondering if the new converter is locking up in park? Is that even possible?

Ordered the parts and installed myself. Get put on hold when call....

Sounds like a valve body issue. Seems the converter is remaining locked.

sounds like the torque converter is in lock up, that will happen when you install a manual lock out switch and do no turn it off coming to a stop

Low stall? My low stall does that when the fluid is cold. As soon as it's warmed up no issues. Idle it in neutral for 30 seconds then try a gear. Triple or single?

yea some specs on the TC would  be good, what stall? How many clutches?

Me78569...truck will still die when at operating temp.

Does this only happen when at operating temp?

Will do it cold or hot. Sometimes not at all....sometimes 10 times before can drive away.

Check for trouble codes, see if all your solenoids and sensors in the trans are correct.
