So I installed a bd super b 57/65/14 (s300g) a couple weeks ago and have put a couple hundred miles on it so far. Towed a dump trailer this week put some good highway miles on it, it wasn't a huge improvement over my holset wh1c 58/60/14 non gated. Spool is a litter better, fuel economy is a little better, it whistles louder and pulls a little better. The biggest gain is the drop in egts, dropped a couple hundred degrees. I still like it and it is an improvement but not what I was hoping for. The 60mm cover and wheel on my wh1c lit faster and pulled harder...but surged like crazy, hence it being sold. I'll report back this weekend after I abuse the super b this weekend, now that it's broken in :)

Oh ya, install was a pain. The waste gate arm was hitting the oil drain tube, even after clocking the center section in every way. I had to heat the tube with a torch and used pliers to crimp it down about an 1/8". I still only have about a 1/16" of clearance. Then, the drain tube didn't line up with the tube on the block, so I had to cut the drain tube back and order 7/8" ID hose from CPP to make it line up right. That special 7/8" ID oil resistant hose is impossible to find locally and isn't cheap...

Some of us just don't have deep pockets for toyz like this.

Haha... I'm not sure that "deep pockets" is a term that I would use to describe myself, but I do like to have some fun and build things! I'm thinking that an HX35/S472 setup might be a nice winter project.

I third the smarty, my truck pulls hard when I was towing...

I would go with a smarty as well. They provide good smooth power. Here's a graph I have where the smarty is the lower curve for torque and HP. If the dyno was loaded the power would have come in sooner, like it does on the street. So if you imagine the curve being shifted back that's how it should really look.

So is Smarty a fueling module? I know you can stack the comp and smarty, but smarty doesn't say much in their description other than timing and catcher and catcher only.

I didn't see you had an edge...

Personally I wouldn't stack them. I know others will disagree, but I think the stack sucks. For me it was very hot and smokey.

I agree actually.  I thought the comp alone or smarty alone was better than the stack.  However, like TFaoro, I didn't see the edge comp either.

Hmmmm. Thanks guys. In my never ending lust for power and economy and modifying the Dodge, I wouldn't do anything till next year, just debating what to do. I really like the features of the Quad and the extra power and more aggressive fueling. And now with the super b, I'm debating a different programmer or some larger SAC injectors for fun. My current 7x.09 VCO (100hp) are clean and powerful, but I'm tempted to try 125 or 150 SACs and see how the current setup reacts in regards to temps, power, economy and smoke. I'm the first one in my family to mess with vehicles and I love learning all about them and how with proper modifications, they become awesome and fun to drive!

Not sure what your elevation is but with a 62 and 125's I could wrap my 1600* gauge over into the 1700 range.

SAC vs VCO make that much difference? Still a 7 hole. Contact point inside the injector is different. SAC allow more flow of fuel?

Sac flows a bit more and makes a bit more power. Many say they are dirtier, but that wasn't my experience. My 125 sacs are cleaner than 90hp vcos

I am in the same boat as TFaoro.  I have the 62 with 125s, and it can get hot with the TST or comp.  I won't go bigger without twins.
