Okay so I have decided I'm gonna go ahead and give up my 2nd gen for a 2005 4x4 with 127,000 miles with the 48RE. What would be things I need to look into before I pull the trigger on buying it? I did get this image to see if anyone knows what it means sorry about how not visible it is.

It was checked for a bad injector, hence the cylinder balancing test. #3 is a little low.

P0617 is "starter relay circuit high", I couldn't find a P00617. I can't make out the last four characters after that code.

3/4 are sister cylinders so it's odd to see them both low. I would have expected one to be high and one to be low to balance the other out.

127K miles is getting into the realm of normal injector replacement but they can also last 2x that long, or more. It's just hard to say with HPCR injectors.

P00617 is too many characters for a DTC, and P0617 isn't a 2005 code.. at least not in the 2005 FSM. "starter relay circuit high" doesn't appear to be a 2005 code either as it's not listed in the 2005 FSM. Can you read it better?

Ha Ha that last sentence is not a number it says "causing a rough idle" .

I guess I went to a better school for learnin bout ciphering than most lol.

haha I was trying to figure out where on the page you were seeing a P code lol.    I have such bad writing I think I can read anything.

I saw what The Hammer posted and ran with it, but yes fairly clear that is says rough idle. I was starting at the FSM and scratching my head...

I was on my phone and it sure as **** looked like a DTC lol. Looking at it from a PC I can tell it says ROUGH now.

I'll be over in the corner if anyone needs me.

I get a kick out of how he originally spelled "RUFF" then scratched it off and spelled it correctly.
