Good evening, recently my 2006 ram 2500 started with problems on the way it accelerates, truck is steady at idle and when pedal is being pushed, the problem occurs when i release the pedal, the truck stays at high rpm and goes down in pauses.  Any one had this isues??  Replaced pedal and sensor today and no results.   Thanks

Any error codes present? Might want to plug in OBDII code reader and check for any APPS sensor codes. Then if you got a live data tool plug it in and check for the APPS or TPS signal and see if it dives out in the position as you drive. If so the APPS might be simply wore out in one spot.

Just plugged computer and checked live data,  throttle actuator (DC %) varies from -29 to -27 with truck off, key on, no pedal pressure.

Do you have any tuning installed?

How many miles? How old are the injectors?

No tuner, i have 600 miles on new engine, injectors have 189k, im suspecting the same because im getting 9 miles per gallon.  I used the same injectors because i had them tested at local diesel lab.   Just replaced map sensor today and its the same.

Was the mileage poor before the rebuild?

What kind of injector test machine was used? I'm not sure I've ever seen 189K mile injectors pass all the Bosch tests.

What are you using to look as TPS voltages? Does it have the ability to look at the MAP, rail pressure, etc?

I'm praying you find an answer to this problem.  I just recently "traded" my  '04.5 Dodge/Cummins because of a recurrent/PITA APPS issue that I could never get a grip on!!!  I'd still have "MightyWhitey" save for the APPS issue.
