Replaced the hard line from the tranny to heat exchanger with fittings and hose, because mine was bent and a pain to line up the threaded ends. $63 from Jegs

-8 AN= 1/2"

Fittings at transmission- 1/4" NPT to -8 AN and -8 AN 90 degree bend push loc

Fittings at heat exchanger- 3/8" NPT to -8 AN and -8 AN straigh push loc

10' of -8 AN(1/2") parker hose

i'd throw some hose clamps on there.  I know push lock sare good to a given psi, but trans temp and pressure might push that limit.

How's this system holding up for you? I don't have any issues with mine but this is definitely something to keep in mind in the future.

Only driven it 3 times since doing that, only about 30 mins each time. My sticker expired and I have spongey brakes. Hopefully fixing it this long weekend. They didn't blow yet, double worm clamped each connection. 

Nice to hear. Seems there's been a ton of recent threads on how terrible these heat exchangers are and how they're ticking time bombs to take out your trans :think:
