What's the deal with the adaptor pigtail? or no pigtail from rock auto

It's a basic sensor any shold work.  nothign special about it

Either airtex/wells or standard motor is the oem manufacturer. Look at the pictures on rockauto, one of them should should have a chrysler emblem on it.

What is the pigtail for?  Seems like just a extension ?

Might be for making the same sensor universal to several other axle designs.
