My hinged cover is busted off my factory 7way trailer plug.

 

Im wondering what brand the factory plug was.

 

What brand does your factory trailer plug say on the cover?

 

Pollak, Hopkins, or Curt or ?

Mine has Chrysler star on it but can't read tiny numbers.  Might be in part manual being it has number?  Sure looks like Pollak I had on older Ford.  Inside bed for 5th plug, I  have pollak.  Both of worked since 05 when I got it

My factory plug is not in the. It is just below the bumper on the left rear.

Just replaced mine this summer after being rear ended. I got a replacement from the dealer. I didn't keep the receipt so I cant give the the  P.N. but they had them in stock or could order them. Make sure that it is for your body style and not the new style.

Read this wrong and was not thinking about the plug under the bumper in the post above.

 

Mine says Chrysler with 56038066AB beneath it.  Amazon has them for $40.14 with free shipping.

 

 

I tow hauled new trailers for 5 years I ran what Walmart carries for 10$ each with no problems since 2006 up to you but I'm into savings a buck where the quality is egual and the price ain't I just can't see another ten and twenty goin out the door for what ten does just fine
