just a quick question. has anyone seen or had dyno numbers with and without running an air filter. THIS IS FOR DYNO/TRACK PURPOSES ONLY!!!! i dont wanna hear how its stupid to drive around without a filter. almost everyone i see takes their filter off or always runs no filter on their setup for dyno/track runs

Most people don't care what their numbers are without a filter as most wouldn't ever run without a filter. 

donaldson b105006 is the one ive read is pretty good. pretty sure it was recommended by moparman on a thread several years ago. unless there is one that new and exciting. 

 

it says rated flow Lr:450cfm

rated flow Mr:590 cfm

 

those seem awfully low dont they? What is Mr and Lr

I don't see that part number on Donaldsons website, but yes that seems like too little flow for a larger turbo. It's likely great for a stock turbo. 

 

LR, MR, and HR are low, medium, and high restriction... which basically means how much vacuum they produce at said flow.

nevermind. i dont think that would even fit looking at the dimensions.

the next question is which is the best flowing but still fit a 24v

 

the 105006 is the best flowing but stil has a 4 inch outlet. but its only flowing 680 at its best
