  • If you're going to be loosening the 19mm nuts completely, it'd be better for you to pull the line to the side and pop the crossover tube out and completely pull the injector and re-seat.

In what order did you tighten down the injectors and lines? It sounds like you have a crossover tube that isn't fully aligned causing the miss.

I fittedthe injector and tightened down to spec and pushed the cross over tube in they all seemed to pop back in

I'm betting there's a misalignment yet.  The way I like to do injectors is put injector in, pop in crossover tube, tighten down high pressure line (that way the injector can still rotate in its bore to fully interface with the crossover tube) and then put injector hold down in and torque.

I will pull the rocker off tomorrow and back the lines and injectors off. Or should i remove the hp lines all together??

Might have to loosen the lines really good and try lifting the injectors a little to make them move again. I know they won't lift but if they are bound up they may not move to seat.

@Mopar1973Man i will loosen the 19s off completely and try lift the injectors slightly to re seat them.. its odd do you think it could be cross overs?? Its only a very slight vibration not even a miss then if i pick the revs up to 1k 1050 it vibrates a bit more then its smooth all the way through

I would then have to strip the the apps intake and vp nuts as will wont i??

You would have to pull the APPS out to get to the #1 isolater bolt.  But there is enough play in these lines that they can be pulled to the side without permanently deforming, allowing access to crossover tubes.  I usually do this one at a time.

I will just strip it all out again tomorrow and re do it all.. so put the injectors in then cross overs then tighten the hold downs and do up the HP lines??

Will he need new copper washers then if he losenes injectors.

one other thing I found helpful is to put oil on the nut threads and where it touches injector line to keep it from binding.

No.  They should stay in place now and will be in the same position.

I drop injectors in, put tubes in, put hold down straps on and snug them very little 10in/lb maybe, then I put all lines on and snug them about half way, then I torque hold down straps to 90 in/lb, then snug lines rest of the way. Everything is well oiled.

Edit

Make sure none of your crossover tubes are nicked on mating surfaces

Injectors in, crossover tubes in, HP lines tight (maybe cycle tight and loose three or so times to ensure proper seating) and then injector hold down.
