Bought my truck in September 2018. 2002 3500. Winter came and all I could get out of my dash vents on position 2 was 80°f. Position 3 was 75°f. Position 4 would blow cold air. Installed grill blanket, no change. Installed 190 NAPA thermostat, temp guage now runs slightly higher and more consistent but no change in vent heat temp. Installed heater treater, no change. Flushed heater core with hose, temp now at 110°f on fan setting 2 and 95°f on fan setting three. Guess I have a heater core replacement in my future. Watched Mopar mans vid and I'm going to wait till summer to do it because I have to work outside in my driveway.......

Can't wait!!!!!

Still in all the best way is to pull the HVAC case. All the flushing in the world won't fix debris problems.

Do you have a wiring diagram for this?

Thanks @IBMobile ^^^^^

Make sure you go through the whole tread, there were more than one option on doing it. As you'll see i was a bit confused but in the end did cut the right wire, :thumbup2:

Edit

Now I'm thinking about adding another switch to disable blower motor. On longer hwy travels there's enough air moving through that I don't think blower needs to be on at all. This would be beneficial in nice weather, where no ac is required and not to cold where you can still adjust air temp hotter and just have the head wind forcing some in cab. I don't like air blowing in my face on 1st speed of blower but if it was half that it may be ok. Idk just another idea, once again on my car that's possible.
