So I just ordered a quadzilla iquad and my question is should I start with a daily tune that I can download from here or just make my own? I won't be using the wire tap so do I need to set the wire tap values to 0 or just leave them alone. Thanks for any help. Also got a fass coming too.

  • haha no worries, the beauty of the quad is being info on what works and how things work

  • yep canbus fuel.     Fueling you really can't hurt anything on stock injectors.  you could run %150 of stock from 0 psi to 30 psi and be just fine.  I call it the S03 tune lol   as for

  • sounds good.   I never ran the New tuning on a stock injector truck so I dont have a great grasp on how much fuel you can throw at it .   easy enough to find out, just go WOT from a stop, if you

post your tune and we can tell you why there is that much timing.

might be a bit much depending on your load.

19° at 1500 RPM is rather high. Typically 19° at 1900 to 2000 RPM. Is more normal.

How old are your injectors?

Edited by Mopar1973Man

the tune is what we need.  At least the timing settings and timing per rpm

I attached two pictures of my timing settings.  I will have to look at my engine load at idle. I have no idea how old the injectors are

Will report later had to leave truck at home this morning

drop 2k to 17* and light throttle to 1.5*

Would the truck being cold effect the timing?

Yes it will.

oem timing is used under 120* or 130* or something.

Cold engines need high timing.  Don't worry about timing values until you are up to temp.

I see roughly 21° on a cold start. True timing is always after fully warmed. Then you aim for about 19° at 2,000 RPM in cruise state.

Welp I just wasted y'all's time.. sorry guys. I paid really close attention this afternoon coming back home and my timing was at 19 to 20 at idle. Then by the time I got to the end of the road it was 13 to 14.. sorry guys.

Not a waste of time just gotta take some time to learn.

Full temp it should idle at 12°. Always work with a fully warm truck when tuning. 10 to 15 mile drive get it nice and warm.

If I would of thought about it for a few minutes I should of known better to start with. But I freaked out because I been messing with the tune more lately. Timing more so trying to get more mpg. The quad is awesome and let's u keep up with alot all at one time it's nice.

Any downside to running more canbus fueling. More strain on the vp44 or anything? I got it turned up to 121 starting out and still no smoke. Add more or no?

Add more until it smokes on wot take off and lugged passing.
