Hey i am new here i am in the middle of swapping my injectors from 7x.012 to stock injectors since i dont think i need that big of injectors on a stock engine and its been having hard start issues the truck has 205k miles and 1,3,4, and 6 Connector tubes look like this and i havnt seen any pictures of them that look this bad just wondering if this is normal?

I would personally not spend money on stock injectors, RV275's if you're going to do that. 7x10 vco set to 320 pop works very well to with quadzilla. 

To me it looks like carbon build up some sort of blow by, trying to think how blow-by would get there   do all of them look like that or just one

Does that wipe off easily? Is that diesel with dirt? If the injection line to connector tube wasn't sealing properly that would explain the hard start(air in the system) and gunk build up. I have had some gunk around the o-ring but that's because I use tube grease on them to keep them from rolling on install.  

 

Are the injection line nuts at the head wet or visible leaking from around the nut at the head?

That is odd looking. Looks like like carbon buid up. Not sure how that could get there. If it is diesel and dirt it should clean relatively easy. The o rings are definitely shot. I would tuink you would see fuel leaking at connections mentioned above.

 I would also agree on the RV 275's on a stock truck. They will be better on power and MPG.

Cylinder 1,2,4 and 6 look like that 3 and 5 looked clean. It doesnt clean off easy looks it would have to be wire wheeled and i didnt notice any leaking. What it was doing is after you let it set for a while it would take like 15-20 sec to start with a light amount of white smoke upon starting my guess is its losing prime and it has had this issue since i got the truck it had a quadzilla adrenaline 4k on it that i did remove

Sounds like that truck has been pushed pretty hard. It looks like combustion blow by. Just not sure how it would without seeing it below the o ring. But I am no expert on this. You can wire wheel it off. The steel those tubes are made of is extremely hard.
