Has anyone knowledge on other applications for this combo, like JD6068.

doubtfull it will work on anything except a dodge cummins.  

 

The message structure between the ecm and vp44 is semi unique to the ram cummins.

Thanks, so what you are saying is the PSG has different code between manufacturers, or the Adernaline is closely matched to the Dodge ECU ?

On one utube clip from Minnesota Millenial Farmer he had a company come out and tune a combine using their own tuner. I can't remember the name of the company though. Not sure what you're looking to do but a utube search might yield some info.

Yes, the adr only knows how to speak dodge ecu

Thanks, I found and watched it. Another question, on the second gen, 24V Cummins, is that a Dodge, or Cummins ECU ?

Cummins ECM, Dodge PCM.

After more reaserch, reading Cummins wiring schematic, the ECM and the PCM are Dodge. Cummins supplied the engine bare bones, no warranty.

Not sure that ecm is Dodge since you can purchase it through Cummins 

I replaced mine in 2009 with a new one from Cummins. Has there logo on it. Thats not to say it is not a Mopar design wrapped up in a Cummins label. We see that kind of stuff all the time. I have seen that article before a long time ago.
