Anyone have a source for OEM rubber tailgate hinge bushings? I bought some from Amazon, they're plastic. Don't think they'll last long plus out of the 4 pieces that came in the kit only one of them will fit anything. I looked on LMC website and seems that they now sell plastic parts as well. I would prefer to have rubber one like dodge put in there.

 Thanks in advance.

  • I put the LMC plastic ones on my truck about 70k miles ago, still doing their job. I use my tailgate a lot and they've held up good. Will definitely buy again if eventually wear out.

@LorenS you might wanna add LMC truck to the vendor list. (hint hint hint)

Ahh those plastic ones are fine. I got a new set plus new cables sittings in the pile from when I thought I could put a bed on my truck... Plus plastic moves/slicker easier than rubber 🤣

Most loose the tailgate bushings from tailgate removal. Yeah they are plastic but they do last quite a long time as long as your careful not to loose them when removing the tailgate. The rubber pads might be a bit tougher but check LMC truck they seem to have all the bits and pieces.

Once I get my laptop fired up I'll try to figure that out.

Just fill in the blanks the best you can. Basically the business name, website URL and phone number are required. If you do a bit Google searching you can find the rest. Some vendors do have eBay, Amazon, and other marketplaces.
