Just by looking at it I'd say A is darker than B, but I opened it in Paint.net and there exactly the same HEX number code. Crazy mind trick!

Gentlemen, I'm diving in waaaay over my pay grade, but could it be????????Are we looking at different densities or shades of the same "color" if grey is a color? Mo coffee please! Gary

The shadow of the cylider is cast over block B making it the same shade as Block A notice the other blocks are off white rather than grey.
