i am surprised to see more people over the proverbial hill than there are people under 30....and to think...i only thought old(er) people used the internet for porn! jk

Maybe an atari 2600 give away to lure more people in their 30's & 40's. Actually its kind of refreshing not to see so many posts about how some guy installed an edge juice, stacked it with an EZ and 150HP injectors and his stock trans and turbo are doing just fine, and that he's even got 300 miles on the set up with no problems...LOL

Hey I had an Atari 400 and an 800. And all the goodies - external floppy drives, cassette drives, printers. Yeah, pretty geeky. Learning DOS once I got a PC was easy because I already knew fortran and basic. -Chuck

I got you beat... I still have all my Atari stuff but i was building machine langauge code when I was 14 yeard old. I advanced from Basic programming because it was too easy...:shocked2: I still got my orignal antique handset modem (300 Baud) :eek:

turned 50 a month ago wife still tells me to grow up!

It's scary to see how young most of you are.I'm pushing 63.Going to retire at the next layoff.Thinking about putting a small dumpbed on the 92.(will keep me occupied)

You must be in ancient cell phone territory up there chuck. We haven't been able to use the old analog bag phones for about 3 years now as everything went totally digital. Boy did that Pizz off a lot of people too. Bill v-o

Sometimes a fuzzy and barely understandable message is better than nothing.

Well I haven't tried to use it in about 8 months. I had been keeping it around as an emergency use phone, and a few times while out in Montana where my digital cell phone didn't work, the old analog bag phone did.If phones fail in an emergency though, I'm not too concerned. My HAM radio is never too far from reach.

Just hit 47 on Dec. 19th 2009, I am in the middle of the road with the rest of you.
