So interesting development on truck. Lately after initial startup the truck lopes real bad and would probably stall unless I gave a little fuel. After some throttle she's fine and first return till next startup :) Thinking air leak or ECM issue at startup that levels off Leaning air leak Fuel psi is steady at 15 psi before and after

John, a buddy of mine has an ECM from a 2001 auto, I bet you could try if you needed to.

Don't leave us guessin' tell us...

ok - I was going to wait a few more days to be sure ..... and also I sent a PM to bob ....... but havent heard back yet as to his thoughts ..... basically its started a few months back, got slightly worse, and was happening 99.5% of teh time you started the engine after being idle for a while. Only when put into 'D'. I will upload a video. Fule PSI was 16 all the time and apps % and rpm seemed stable. I was thinking air leak in the fuel. To fix I unloaded and reloaded the smarty program - simple as that. Now the question tom me is ... 1) Was it something wrong with the ECM fueling tables - and smarty reflash fixed it ? 2) Did the smarty cause it as well ? Or it was just the cure ??? - I messaged Bob about this. But 5 days now - no repeat !! And no ECM replacement - yay :woot:
