During the day, 1st time using cruise control it accelerates. Set it at any speed between 45-75 and it continually creeps up. Turn it OFF - ON - set it - multiple time and it starts working fine. Anybody seen this and have a solution? No warning lights and no codes.

Found the culprit - dirty solenoid components. Red circles are dirty and Blue circles are clean.

I found this video on the cruise problem.
I have attached the schematic, but I do not see ECM

The 02's and some or all of the 01 are controlled by the ecm and not a servo. Fly by wire. It by passes the TPS. No vacuum lines, no servo, no signal from the TPS.Pretty simple unless it goes out, then you need a new ECM :spend:.

I should have said solenoid and not servo.

Also another fly by wire system here. I've heard that the Automatic transmission truck happen to have vacuum servo system because of the kickdown cable still need to be pulled. But the manual transmission trucks are all fly by wire I think starting in 2000.
