Announcement: I will start producing a combination high idle/3 cyl high idle/MPG fooler box in a quality manner. This will not be a 1 time thing. I am going to order in bulk & produce probably 25 at a time. All plug & play with a small durable weatherproof connector to go through the firewall. ECT & IAT wiring will be OEM style plugs so that you do not have to cut & splice the harness. It'll be similar to the MAP sensor harness on a tuner or boost fooler:Unplug connector from sensor, plug in HI/MPG plug to sensor & plug in HI/MPG plug to truck's harness.I am trying to work with a well known diesel performance distributor, so that it will always be in stock for order.Also, a percentage WILL go towards maintaining Mopar 1973 man's site, as that is where it all started & He is the person who figured it all out.It will be about a month before I can truly gear up for this venture. I will not sell direct, but through a well respected distributor.I will have a small rebate for active duty/reserve/fire=ems/police. That will be done directly through me, as I do not want to saddle the distributor with the hassle. On a further note, I have plans (woke from a dream) of a fully automatic system that would start on 3 cyl, till 140*, then 6 cyl & then disable & turn on the MPG fooler once the fuel pedal is pressed. That way you don't have to remember to turn off the MPG switch for each cold start. This will be funded by initial purchases, due to starting on a low budget. Thank you for your intrest,Ed

How can we tell if the ECM has been enabled? If not, what is the procedure?

Extended idling with coolant temps below 140*F is damaging. All you have to do is with a cold engine stick a 56k ohm or 100k resistor into the IAT plug after you unplug the IAT sensor of course. Start the engine and see if the 3 cylinder high ilde start within about 5 minutes tops.

Here ya go i asked the same question earlier in the thread to enable it you need to have a smarty programmer or have the dodge dealer do it

No. Yankneck696 (Ed Grafton) is having problems with the face plates and hole line up. Then on top of that Ed's computer got hit but the a Virus that wipe out not only his but his wifes computer. So I talked him last night and as soon as the face plates show up he's shipping out.

Auto Version? If you do the flash to enable the high idle its automatic by design. All the high idle mod does beyond that is give you control of when and where.
