August 22, 201311 yr Yes the C&C trucks are different, that is for pickups only. C&C are 305/610 MY07-MY12, MY13 is 320/650 for manual and 325/750 for auto.
August 22, 201311 yr What are they doing to the auto-trannys that they can take the torque now??? For years and years, they "de-tuned" the mighty Cummins to keep the autos from being destroyed by the Cummins torque.
August 22, 201311 yr The torque management that's possible with electronic controls of engine and trans talking to each other is the key. You'll never see that 850 off the line, or while mid-shift. It's comparitively easy to make a trans last in top gear, higher RPM, full lockup with a ton of torque than while it's shifting or slipping.
