I have not found a definitive source for repair manual. Aftermarket cover too many years and motors. I really prefer old cut down tree version rather than online. Is there a good place to get a hard copy manual for my truck?

I had to purchase 3 different manuals in order to get everything I needed for my truck. If you find one that has it all, please let me know.

I started out using the paper fsm, but in 2005 I think they went to the electronic so I have used both, I actually like the electronic manuals because you can search and they are cheap. The best thing to do is maybe go to the dealers and see if they will sell any or watch ebay.

I'll have to double check, but at home, I think I've got a 2001 FSM-it would be electronic, and I'd have to upload it to a site somewhere to get it to you, but I'll try and take a look and see if it's the right one, if you're interested...

Thanks, but I've downloaded the fsm in the downloads section of this site. That may be my only option. Thanks again.

Actually I found I'd rather the electronic version. I print only what I need at the time and don't care if I get it dirty or greasy, it's in the trash if in that condition, or if not in a binder for later use.My wife has an iPad, and it's there if we're on a trip. It's in my laptop if her iPad is low on juice. My paper manuals from prior vehicles look like they went through hell and lost the battle. Can't seem to part with them.

The factory OEM service manuals for older 2nd gen Dodge Rams come as a set of 3 huge manuals, I would look on e-bay or amazon for a used set, probably can't order new ones anywhere but from Dealers anymore. New sets used to run around 200 bucks for the set of 3 and the paper manuals for the newer ones were even more, CD or PDF is the way all come now for everything.
