Hello all, Since I purchased my truck( YabbaDoo) a little over a month ago I have done several tweaks and maintenance items. Starting with a Relay for the FSS, Speed Sensor, Belt and Tensioner, Oil/fuel/transmission fluid/filter changes and Installed back up lights in the rear wheel wells, by the back hitch and also installed driving lights that can change color in the front We went exploring several days to favorite places and to new favorite places. to get to some remote places to hike with the dogs. For a big truck the turning radius is pretty sweet.The dogs and I had a fantastic time camping and can't wait to do it again next year!! I also brought my hitch cargo carrier (can’t tell you how many times I cursed it for being in the way) so that I could bring some Virginia rocks back home for my garden and a Fire pit. I did have to zip tie the FSS for the trip home, but all and all we had a fabulous trip and plan to do many more with YabbaDoo!!!!

Looks like a great trip. Nothing better than getting out into nature in another part of the country. Thats my idea of a true vacation.JR

I go every year to the mountains Florida is flat and I am a mountain girl at heart and need that yearly trip to decompress... My parents took us camping just about every weekend when I was a kid. Love to camp, hike, fish, chop wood ( I am a Maul girl, not a Mall girl) Kayak, Horseback riding, etc... So if it is something to do outdoors, I'm in:thumb1:

I am married to one myself, I am a very lucky man. My wife came from a small dairy farm and is very conservative and thrifty and can out work most men when it comes to manual labor. Has her own horses and loves cattle and all animals as well as kayaking and canoeing and she is an avid runner, she runs marathons all over the place she prefers halfs more so and has given up the fulls this year, she does a lot of 5K runs too.. Another month will be 15 years married and Feb will be 20 years together, we dated for 2.5 years and were engaged for another 2.5 years before getting hitched. My wife isn't mechanically inclined though as you seem to be. We are headed down to Florida for our 2nd time in 6 months for a 10 day vacation in Dec. I can only handle flat land if it is covered with enough trees to block the view of vast nothing. We would love to see the area you just came from some day, looks awesome.

ND does have a lot of flat land but I was born raised and live in an area that is very hilly in the south central / south west part of the state with what I consider a fair amount of trees, we are not covered with trees except in the NE part of the state.

Well, there used to be a lot of tall grass on the CRP ground………………now it's just tall corn. Lot's of wind breaks and shelter belts up there.

Fly into Sanford spend first and last night there due to flight times and we are going to head straight south through central fl. and head for Naples one night. Last trip we drove down A1A on the east coast and cut through Homestead and down to Key west which is where we are going from Naples this trip, spend 4 days there and come back up north and spending 2 days on Sanibel Island which we visited for a day last time and fell in love with instantly, then back through the inland past lake Okeechobee again since last trip we went north along the gulf coast to Tampa and back to Orlando, we want to see the inland country of South FL this trip going to and from the keys, we like the SW gulf coast area between Naples and FT Meyers the best from our trips down there.What part of the state do you call home?We are already planning a northern Fl. / pan handle trip in the future.Allegiant airlines flights are cheap and easy direct flights now out of Bismarck to Sanford makes it nice.

I spent a week in Sanford at the Crane Institute of America. Spent a little time at Disney at night and Universal the day before I had to leave, but didn't have very much free time. Classes were 10 hours long and generally had an hour or 2 of homework each night.JR

Seems to be a popular area, there are several members here from that area. I was going to meet up with JohnFak but our travel plans this trip are not going through that area.

Bummer... Would be nice to meet you...

It would be nice to meet a lot of you but everyone is so far away. I'm going to try and at least run up north and tag Hex0rz and shake a fellow family member hand some day.
