Lost Family Members And Inactive Members

Ok Gang.

 

I've found a wonderful plugin that allows me to continue the member maintenance like we had in the past with vBulletin 4 but this plugin "Manage Inactive Members" all done on schedule. So this is what I got set up...

 

NOTIFY INACTIVE FAMILY MEMBERS

 

After 90 days of your last login you'll get a nice message to remind you that you've been inactive. Then every 90 days you'll get another email sent to you reminding you. This notice will be sent out every day at 1 am in groups of 100 users at a time maximum.

 

MOVING FAMILY MEMBERS TO "LOST FAMILY MEMBERS" GROUP

 

After 365 days if you have 1 or more post on the site you account will be disabled and moved to the Lost Family Member Group. There will be a PM sent to your PM box notifying you your account has been disabled. This notice will be sent out every day at 2 am in groups of 100 users at a time maximum.

 

DELETING FAMILY MEMBERS AFTER 365 DAYS

 

The only way you can be deleted is if you truly have not contributed at all. In other words if you have a post count of ZERO then your account will be deleted after 365 days to free the server space and free the user name for someone else to use.

    From what I see Mike saying previously if dont have lost family member under your avatar you should be ok. I know he is busting his hump to square it all away. I cant imagine how many pm's and emails his getting over this. Go get em Mikey.

    Relax folks. Michael is doing his best to avert the will of the software. Communication is good, but there is nothing personal about what is happening. New software is awesome, but it has a learning curve. Hang tight.

    I've had to disable the module out right. It still continues to send out emails and is moving people. So till I get some support from the 3rd party author, its disabled for the time being.

    I don't know whats going on but I have gotten 49 emails currently and I get one every 1 to 2 hrs! Can you fix this?

    Go to your User Name up top and click and select "My Settings" and then to "Notification Option" and change the setting to what you wish.
