when I hit the view new content tab, it says there is no new content. I can go to forums and scroll down and see where there are new threads and new posts but they don't come up with the new content tab. Is this a problem with my iPad or the site?

Make sure you choose what new content you want to see from the left column, if shows what you last looked at be a member profile ect.

There are 3 groups, content / time frame / other, need to pick what you want to see as new.

What do you mean "the left column"?

If you get the mobile site on your ipad on the top of the page there should be buttons that say "by type" and "by time"

Set the type to "forums" and the time to "new since my last visit" or "content I have not read"

Guess your view must be different on an I-pad, my wife has a Samsung pad thingy like an I-pad and when I use it I just set it to full forum view version rather than mobile, what I am used to I guess.

On the Desktop View (Full Version) make sure you got...

By Content Type: Forum Checked.

By Time Period: Content I have not read checked.

Other: Nothing should be selected.

I use the site on desktop computer & I've discovered I had to go back to forums if I wantered off...  but I figured it out & good to go!

I'm still not sure how to change the settings, this is what I see when I bring this thread uppost-265-0-16059400-1425936209_thumb.jpg

Top right corner is a tab called view New content it should take you to a page like the one I posted with the options along the left side of the page.

Bill's setting are correct. Just look on the left side of his screenshot. Also it in the navbar. The Articles, Forum, etc... To the far right is View New Content.
