Posted April 4, 201510 yr Any one fiddle with door lock solenoids My pass side is sticking . Makes a noise wont go up and down with the drives door switch. Once in awhile it works Maybe just needs a shot of penetrating oil Havent felt like pulling the door panel and busting the plastic retainers yet
April 4, 201510 yr Owner I would consider pulling the door panel and looking it over. Might check with local part stores for possible replacements.

April 4, 201510 yr Don't pull them out, pry and cut each one otherwise the door will break on the inside. The plastic is way too brittle

April 4, 201510 yr They all slide in from different directions. I go around popping the panel off gently as possible and then put them back in the door panel for reinstall. I need to do the same to mine, drivers door lock works 1 out of 100.
