  1. Does anyone have a picture of the pinouts on the pcm?I am looking for #23 orange wire/dark blue tracer.I have a picture of the in's and outs's on a wire diagram,but i am looking for a number block to help me get there faster.Thanks in advance.

When i put my cam in everything was apart.I dont think 1/2hr will cut it.It is a big job.If you are going to do this job get some cardboard and make a jig pattern of the front cover.When removing the bolts put them on the cardboard jig.And put a new seal on the crank.The seal kit will come with a plastic ring ,it is a tool to help the seal go in.I used permatex right stuff instead of a gasket.
  3. Another cool thing about the smarty when it is 28* or colder have a high idle 1175 rpm.

Yes there is a fine line with improved mpg.However getting the injectors bar setting to match each other is the important part.Not every injector out there are even.I have talked to a injector builder who had a new set sent to him and well.......Do research is all i am going to say.I am on my 3rd set and i have had mine built for my truck to go with my setup.

This is Corinna,She is gone now.I could go on for hours on how perfect she was.Just this last june a week before her 13th birthday we HAD to put her down.Hardest thing i ever had to do.She couldnt breath because of so much cancer in her lungs.I dont mean to bring this thread down or anything just wanted everybody to see her pretty face.
  6. Why do a billit output? Unless you really like pulling trannys?It is a grand per shaft.The converter around a grand.V-body 750.$$To me thats not a budget build.But thats whats in your thread.So to me a single disc is not a good idea.Imho do it up the first time.Yes save a little now,but then you have to do it again.However you know your goal and how you intend to drive said truck.I am just trying to help.Then again i tend to over kill sometimes...well most of the time.Some guys can be happy with just a few upgrades.Diesel power can be addicting.If you have self controll your thread ideas are good.:smile:

The week link is the tranny.If you add a box/programmer remember,it only takes about 120hp more to kill it.If you try.Because when hp is added so is torque.Egde is a good box.Just go easy on it.If you start to get the hp bug and get a built tranny get a billet input and intermediate shaft.Stay away from billit output shaft.Them can be changed with the tranny in the the truck.Also needed is a laminated flexplate.Again i would stay away from a billit flexplate.They dont flex and you can hurt the crankshaft.Suncoast has a good lam. flexplate.
  8. turns out the 99's used a crank sensor so the ecm change is out.dont get me wrong the smarty works ,but doesent remove it all.
  9. my 01 has a smarty/revo and i still have trouble building boost on the line .the tq man is defueling it.i dont want a rad box. can i get a ecm from a 99 or 2000? if i can how do i find the perfect matching ecm?
