lowing kit to level
what do you guys think? insted of raising front susp. why not lower rear?for the guys running stock tires. i have been looking at leveling kit . carli, kore, lorenz.prices range 400.00 plus. and that is just springs and shocks.to center axle you still have to get new track bar. kit also increases angle of stock control arms.i do not want to alter oe steering geometry.anyone know whare to get rear axle lowering blocks and ubolts? thanks

Electric Fans?
Hello I have electric on my 02.I did a lot of research in the design of my system. You could buy the flex-a-light 262 twin fan rated @ I believ 5500CFM.If you read application information the 262 system is not rated for loades over I think 18000lbs and it cost around 600$$$. Aftermarket should increas OE performance not reduce it IMO.My system uses 1-18" Ford Lincoln Mark VIII 2 spd. electric fan about 45.00 W/O shipping e-bay 1-16" Ford Taurus electric 2spd. " " " 35.00 " " " 2-fan control kits from dc control at sales@dccontrol.com around 80.00 each 2-fuse block 4-8 gauge w/ MIDI 60amp fuse 13.00 for both e-bay misc. wire and connectors 20.00 18" mounts on passenger side,16" mounts on drivers side. So for around 330$$ I have a varyable system that has a capacity around 7000CFM. Note: this is not a direct fit you will have to cut and rework the shrouds on both fans. You also have to build custom mount for winshield washer tank, took me about 1/2 hour once i figured how I was going to do it.You will have to relocate radiator reseve tank.Hope this helps. Cold Weather Warning!
90 to 110 ok . is that @ intake of motor or @ your BHAF? I would like to find a oil or water temp gauge that goes down to 90 deg. and tap int my intake air horn. what im thinking is building a box around my air filter.one side would be open to fender for summer use and open to motor for winter use. but on outside of box on motor side mount an 12" x 10" x 3/4" oil cooler, used as heat exchanger.tie into heater core supply lines.should still have enough water flow to oe heater core to heat cab properly. will check with guys at work about BTU output ofheat exchanger.any idea of CFM draw for 24valve @ say 2000 RPM?

well since it is the cold weather season.does anyone have any info for a base line intake air temp to increase winter time fuel economy? my truck gets its best mpg from 55 to 75 deg. with low humidity. we put cold air kits on why not reverse for winter use and temper intake air?

hello 3.5 is only going to found in an old house being torn out or antique store. The gentleman was right, fed. gov. put limit to 1.5gal. on all water closets (toilets) both residential and commercal use. Did you install your plumbing in yor new home or did you have a a plumbing contractor install? I am guessing that PVC (white in color) or ABS ( black in color) plastic pipe used? Have you been able to tell blockage location when you rent sewer cable? Has the blockage been about same location both times? The reason I ask is i.5 toilets yet no being the best, they should and do work properly as long as the drainage system they are connected to are working as they should.I am thinking you either dont have enough fall on your sewer, you have to much fall(yes this can be a problem because the water runs past solids and does not promote scouring action in system)or last there can be a small burr that can grab a piece of tp then another and after a few flushes you have a stopped up sewer. One more thing the ladies in the house I am sure the know not to flush there femal product down toilet. Those thins are the perfict sewer blockers. sorry so long hope this helps .do not know a lot about diesels but i have been a journeyman plumber for 24 years.

Truck needs some new shoes
helloI am new to forum , hope this helps.I have been looking @ tires for a month.Ordered tire today went with General HTS 265/75 16 E .This tire is rated #1 with Consumer Reports . Talked with some local guy's ,they said good tire to put under diesel, sides are not soft. You can get reviews and specs. @ tire rack or Treddepot. Second pick was General AT2 more aggresive tread, thought role resistance would be more than HTS. i am after MPG . And Made in USA ++
