Spent some money on the 05.
damn that sucks being that close out of warranty and then having a major break down like that.

Spent some money on the 05.
you should check into the warranty again it should be a 5/year 100,000 miles for a powertrain limited warranty on it. the 3 year 36,000 miles basic warranty here is a page straight from the book of a 2009-2010 on what is warranty.

Fuel Boss Mechanical Lift Pump System
hey guys thanks for the info I will send him in an email and see what it take to do it and everything. the one way I see it working but might not be plausible would be to run the line from the tank to the fuel boss then the out line on the fuel boss to airdog front in through the filters then the out on the airdog to the vp44. it is a lot of line with might be to much and won't have enough psi through all that to hold it is my thinking. made a crude image to help under stand ha Orange-tank Purple- airdog Blue-fuel boss Red- vp44 Black line- fuel tank to fuel boss Marron line- fuel boss to airdog Yellow line- airdog to vp44

Fuel Boss Mechanical Lift Pump System
got a airdog original pump on the truck right now and been looking at the Fuel Boss Mechanical Lift Pump System. I was wondering if anyone has had put one on yet? I want to use the airdog filter setup up on it, if it is possible or do I need to buy a different filter set up for it? Would really like it better then the airdog because im sick of messing around with the airdog and would like to have something that is really reliable. If anyone knows someone I can talk to on making the fuel boss work with the airdog filter setup that would be awesome thanks guys.

custom hauling this weekend
I think it weighed right around 9500 pounds I don't want that job we got a lot of sales man already. but this is for one of his customer I did it for one of his last sale I think

custom hauling this weekend
well did some custom hauling for a customer this weekend. hauled a haybuster from back home to where I work about 182 miles. ran it 50 to 55 mph on smooth roads and about 45 to 50 mph on bumpy roads that would make the trailer sway to much and go back and forth. Exhaust temps were at 600 to 650 and boost about 5 psi and fuel pressure was about 12 to 14. thought I would share this to show something other then all the break downs we get haha

N2 or not N2 - That is the question ?
I had it in my grand prix gxp. the n2 was nice because it never really moved on the psi gauge for the tires, winter driving and summer driving. it was nice to always be at that psi even when the tires got warmer or colder out side and even when drive it only moved a psi or 2 after drive 75 mph for couple of hours. I liked it but not worth it because of the con about is if you do get a leak and need to put air into the psi will change some in the tire if it isn't all n2

Air dog taking a crap
I have had really good with the pyro and boost one but the fuel pressure one is trouble. the old style has a diaphragm style electrical one and the new one doesn't so hope the vp44 doesn't hammer it as hard even with the snubber valve on it

Air dog taking a crap
yup ball was wedged into the spring a bit and tested it now and it seems to be working alot better. will know more when i get the new glow shift style fuel pressure gauge installed
-
Air dog taking a crap
Ok I'll look at the spring today or tomorrow. The air dog is about 2 years old. The spring and ball is on the return hose? Best way to get at it on the frame?
-
Air dog taking a crap
my air dog and it will hold pressure but when on the throttle hard it losses a lot of psi and goes below 5 and sometimes 0. But when at 75mph it sits at 10 psi but hit the throttle it goes down. Could it be the ball and spring stuck slightly? Thinking it is taking a crap on me and was wondering what to buy next another air dog or go with fass or a mechanical pump? Money is not to tight right now but with it being my DD I don't want to be down this winter sitting on the side of the road when it goes out. If mechanical pump would I be able to use the air dog filters down on the frame still?

Cruise control issues
On mine going down the interstate at 78mph it will surge from 5psi to 10 psi and it is annoy all the time feel like I speed up slow down a bit never holds same psi. thought that was just normal on the old dodge but mines a auto to so I can't really help you

Ram 1500 gasser overheating
I had my 2001 1500 dodge ram sport do that once and the soft plugs were bad on it but not leaking any anti freeze and it had me looking and changing things out tell I found that out. mine would only start overheating when it sat and not while driving. that's what I had maybe the same for you but maybe not

power steering help
ok just did the test and it moves just fine when on the jacks back and forth i did this about 8 time each way and then when i put it back on the ground it would move easy a little bit then it would go back to hard as crap to move and i could never get it all the way over because it was to hard to turn. i think the pump is just starting to go out
-
power steering help
ok i will try blocking it off the ground and see if anything is wrong and tell you my findings. it doesn't seem to bad going down the road but you can feel the pump is trying to work but right when i start turning it is the big problem.
