He351ve stand alone Arduino controller code for 2nd Gen Cummins
well, I pulled about 10,000-12,000 up the pass today. I can say the turbo loved it....My radiator, not so much haha. I guess it is time to clean her our.

It really screams when you have a trailer on. Just a little bit of extra load really helps lite the turbo. I was climbing a small hill in 2nd maybe 15-20 mph, look at my boost gauge and I was still at almost 10 psi, looked at my rpms and I was at like 1400 haha. little more tweaking and I will be really happy with the setup.

That curve is from 6cm to about 13-14. No load, but it takes into account turbo acceleration to buffer the top end. But it is a monster now without going to crazy on shaft speeds.

Well hooked up to a trailer for the first time since the turbo. I gotta say it is awesome. I am making 5-10 psi of boost before 1500 rpm in 2nd. It's great

Cooking for a small army
Yea. We tried to keep the wedding cheap. We had a budget of 2k..... We are at almost 6 k now. Granted we decided to rent a venue after the fact ( 2.5k) Even with doing it yourself, and keeping it cheap, buy on sale etc it is IMPOSSIBLE to throw a party without spending money. But by gods grace we made it with still something in the bank.

New BHAF options!
I would say K&N is a 4 letter word in ANY car. I know on bmw's the oil from the filter has a tendency to leave oil all over the MAF wire and cause the car to run poor because the ecm has no idea how much air is flowing in.

Congrats on your adventure. Mines not prego, but she wishes she was.

4 wheel ABS on a 2 Wheel ABS truck?
I would find a truck in a junk yard and compare the harness. Gasser or diesel shouldn't matter. I would guess the output from the ABS computer is the same for a 2 wheel abs vs 4 wheel. I would also guess the PCM isn't smart enough to know any better. New water though.

Cooking for a small army
I gotta run to costco in the morning and pick up 2 more large pork loins. That should hopefully be enough ( little more than 1/2 per person of meat) Ugh. I don't see how people get divorced, Too much work goes into the dang wedding. It'd be kinda like restoring an old rusty barn find cobra, then once you have spent thousands rebuilding it, selling it to the Local U-Pull & Pay for $200.

Cooking for a small army
Well my wedding is on saturday, so earlier this week I figured it was time to get the cookers going. 4 crock pots doing 8 x 10# pork loins to turn into pulled pork. Very basic recipe 1 Bottle of Coke 1 cup of ketchup some pepper Some Salt Some Garlic Some liquid smoke 12-14 hours on low heat. Plan for the wedding dinner is Pulled Pork #50-#60 ( 2 more pork loins to cook almost there) Homemade Baked beans Homemade Green Beans #28 Homemade Roasted rosemary Potatos #30 Salad ( who cares) Rolls Total Cost to feed 100ish people $275 or $2.75 per plate. And last but certainly not least, PIES!! I myself dont really care for cake so i put my foot down. Me- "Jen listen! We are having pies not cake at our wedding!!!!" Jen - "yum sounds good" Me- "no you just dont understand, don't try to argue I don't ask for much but I want this!" Jen - "fine you win" ( rolls eyes) Sometimes you just gotta let them know you are the king of the castle. #44 of pulled pork on the counter Provided no one gets sick from my cooking, I think I am in the clear.

Strange ABS issues
does the nv tranny have a speed sensor?

4 wheel ABS on a 2 Wheel ABS truck?
I would assuming the only thing that the pcm talks to the abs about is the rear sensor on the pumpkin. Then I would assume the abs takes and compares the rear value to the front abs value? Do the front abs sensors connect to the pcm or the abs computer directly?

4 wheel ABS on a 2 Wheel ABS truck?
Well I would assume so since the abs computer is it's own thing, that acts on it's own. I am not sure if you would need a pcm from a 4 wheel abs truck though.

well like I told her, With the amount of time and money put into this wedding, we are doing it regardless, snow, rain. hail, doesn't matter. I paid for it, I am doing it.

He351ve stand alone Arduino controller code for 2nd Gen Cummins
Getting married in a couple days so this is on the back back back burner. I will be towing with the setup this weekend so I can report how it acts. I will say that thanks to lillb.com and hakcenter overthere, I have added a turbo accel variable that tells the arduino if the turbo is speeding up or slowing down. I use this in the top end controls of the turbo. This resolves the issue of the vanes opening causing a huge drop in shaft rpms, then repeating. I am watching shaft speed and accel, if speed is increasing beyond 130,000 rpm I will open the vanes slightly, but if the shaft speed is above 130,000 but decreasing I hold the current position or reduce the housing size if (curveb){ //End pos of 16cm start 11cm if (turbo_rpm <= 120000) { vane_position = 645 - TPS_range;} //************************ else if (turbo_rpm <= 128000) { vane_position = 624 - TPS_range;} //************************ else if (turbo_rpm <= 140000) { if (turbo_accel[2] > 20){vane_position = last_vane_position - 5;} // if shaft accel is Positive then open by 5 else if (turbo_accel[2] > 40){vane_position = last_vane_position - 10;} //if shaft accel is postive and large, open by 10 else if (turbo_accel[2] < -20){vane_position = last_vane_position + 5;} // if shaft accel is decreasing minus size by 5 else if (turbo_accel[2] < -40){vane_position = last_vane_position + 10;} //if shaft accel is decreasing largely minus by 10 else {vane_position = last_vane_position;} } } //Overrun if (turbo_rpm > 140000){ // 145,000 rpms is where I get worried about shaft speed. if (turbo_accel[2] > 0) {vane_position -= 5;} //this will creep the vane position more open each code cycle if turbo rpms are above 150,000 if not in curvea ( perf mode defined by "F_watchpot" tab) else {vane_position = last_vane_position;} }

Injector Comparrison
I made that mistake too. Pliers slipped and crossover tubes needed to be replaced.

yea you won

Teardown and Rebuild
I see no blood so I am betting another human caused this.

mystery wire
that wire junction supplies all the power for the bed of the truck. I would assume that that power take off is for some sort of gauge that needs illumination, when the lights are turned on.

Injector Comparrison
I believe that jacob sells all his injectors with the copper o-rings ( tip of the injectors) and the crossover tube o-rings.

47RE build suggestions
I need to replace all my lines in the near future. When I do I am ditching the hard lines and using AN fitting's with 1/2" soft line for the entire thing.

XRF Balljoints
I am actually a firm believer in non grease-able one are better. My Oem's were non-greaseable and they made it close enough to 175000 miles not to matter.
