  1. Now I agree with that the ability to cool the ability to get rid of heat. Shed it essentially. As for the other I'm 50/50 but that's just me.
  2. Whoa that's kinda up there ain't it? You wouldn't think the tranny would run cooler if forth with 1200 exhaust
  3. Here's my thought. Your kinda defeating the point of an oil filter if you can't throw it away. So you can clean it with a bunch of chemicals for the 12 dollars that a new fleetguard cost. Secondly the filtration for that stainless steel that really isn't that great. Fleetguard gets down to right around two micros carbon black and provides excellent oil flow in cold temp. It's like moparman said I won't touch it. Your dealing with a k and n filter that you can see through vs a paper that actually does it's job. My thought unless more trouble than it's worth. Stick with fleetguard can't go wrong.
  4. Yeah I'll have to check the Volts only thing I did was test light. What am I looking for in the volts to ground.
  5. That doesn't just break apart down there with a another plug Also I'm getting on the dash panel. With the two oem lights on I get the high beam light on the dash won't go away even with I change it to dim.
  6. Hi guys, what I got is a 99 Cummins I recently blew the driver side headlight. I have a harness that goes from my passenger side headlight plug over to my driver side but doesn't plug in. I have a hid kit installed with ballasts. My problem is I don't have high beams I only have lows. So I checked the pins, fueses on and on. Then i unplugged the aftermarket harness and put in oem 9007 cheapie bulbs and what I found out is driver side works fine high and low my passenger side though only works on low. and I keep blowing the fuse 15 amp rt headlamp under the hood. I don't know if I have a short or a fuse I'm not seeing or that harness is shot and someone knows where I can get another any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Ohh it's about 3 inches past the starter

Mine is right down by the starter in fact it's laying pretty much on it. I beveled it just so it won't freeze or clog I figure with the heat from the engine and blow by air shouldn't have any problem.

Did you bevel the long pipe? So it won't clog?
  10. What program is that. Is that on your phone.
  11. Thats my question? That's my next thing. Everyone I know around here runs the rv275s and they get about 18 I'm stock injectors just have more air flow and I get right around 20 pounding down the road. Everything I've read and heard 75s get you at least 3 more. But sounds too good to me true.
  12. Ohh gotcha. But that's what I like that it's heavy. Iv heard that insurance company's and resale hate it because it hides things. I watched that video and that guy was pretty bias towards monstaliner for never using it. Monstaliner there must be pretty proud of there stuff for what it cost
  13. So I'm sure there is a posting about this some where but I'm gonna ask it again. My 99 dodge driver door failed and I think I found one. But instead of spending 600 on paint I figured I would bed liner the entire truck. What do you guys think I've never used monstaliner and it's pretty expensive. I've used duplicolor on my grill guard and as long as it's warm it works good I think. Just wanted to get the entire scoop before I continue thanks.
  14. Sweet thank you big help all of you!!!
  15. Ok thanks I know you go down the head with it then 45 it to the back of the truck. I don't want to make it too long and get plugged or too short
  16. Ok how long is that last piece of PVC .... I guess I really don't need to know how long I can messure it my self I just need to know where everyone is putting it so it's safe from plugging up. I wouldn't think you would go back to the transfer case but maybe I'm wrong
  17. thanks everyone this has been helpful. I got a modification to do thanks
  18. awesome thank you everyone been helpful
  19. so you do have to use a little bit of rubber hose before going into the pvc pipe,
  20. In the article i see the piece of rubber hose your saying thats a no no right, then i should just come off the top of the beather with 1/2 pvc pipe and then go down the head and out the back?
  21. so bought all you can get out of it. Right?
  22. Just wondering what all i need, how long of pieces i need to do the crankcase vent mod in the article page for the 24 valve 2nd gen
