Datalogging with the quad
So I have my Excel program. I have a quadzilla. How do I get setup to datalog with the quadzilla. I've heard of the quad auto uploading datalogs. I want to be able to live view my datalog from the quad app using a laptop but I'm not sure how to go about it.

What NV5600 fluids are yall running?
My 5600 was redone by Cody at superstick transmissions. He recommended 50wt oil which I tried but had horrible grinding issues. After many trials through many fluids I'm on amsoil synchromesh now and it's butter. With the transmission coolers installed I'm running 10 quarts.

Everyone post a picture of your truck!

Nv5600 stripped 2nd gear
The rebuilt trans is a 2wd and mine is 4wd. Are they convertible in any way?

Nv5600 stripped 2nd gear
So I've found a rebuilt trans for $2200 and I contacted the guy from Texas and he wants $2200. I think I'd get the rebuilt trans for the same price and I'll have two transmissions.

Nv5600 stripped 2nd gear
So you need special tools and there is only one guy that fixes them? I find that hard to believe

Nv5600 stripped 2nd gear
So I took off with a little extra spirit today and second gear decided to check out. Does anybody have and parts or have a good source to get whatever parts I may need when I open this can of worms? Also one more thing would help greatly is how much does this trans and transfer case weigh separately?

reading codes and clearing light
Is there a way to write some code or something we can do to make it read and erase codes because that would be awesome.

reading codes and clearing light
on quadzillas website it says you can read and erase check engine lights and codes but i have never discover this function while using the quad. Am i missing something or is this on the old set up or what?

bucking in drive and OD
dude i plugged in those timing settings and wow it smoothed my low end chug right out. i had a bucking issue if i let it dip too low on my 6 speed so i would just drive it with more rpms to avoid this. but it was inevitable when taking off from a stop most times. with these timing setting i can lug it just like stock and you cant even tell the truck has stock turbo with 7x11 sac injectors on board.

I love my 6 speed. buttery smooth.

2 step doesn't load the engine it just limits rpm. I think it has an upper and lower limit. So say you set it at low 2000 and high 2100. It would bounce the Rev limiter between the two specified limits.

Can you write a code for a 2 step type of deal for us manual trucks

So this new tune is like 2 step but fr our trucks then. Sweet. Does this work on a manual transmission? If so I want to try it

I don't even see that much rpm. 2500 to 2800 max. I'm a low rpm driver for sure. Don't really need to rev it out if I don't need the extra power. Ill normally shift at just under 2k rpm.

Here are my current settings and level 3 just for the simple fact that stock turbo, no headstuds, and slipping clutch sooo. I've noticed you have to start the canbus fueling higher like 85. When I lowered it to the 75ish range it would start doing all sorts of bucking when trying to take off. I got it to the point I could duplicate it over and over. Anti stall would work great from a dead stop but say rolling to a stop sign when you don't fully stop is when it does it. Start bucking a ton and either mash the fuel or push in the clutch and try again. With the settings I have pictured it almost doesn't do it at all. I have 7x11 with idk what pop pressures buy I would think some of the guys with bigger injectors could start at low 80's or high 70's and rudeuce canvus fueling from there to about 8-10 psi range then start cranking fuel back into it. Timing also plays a huge role. I providing my timing but everyone's will be a little different. I had to pull timing a few degrees across the board from where I was at with stock injectors. It's really running great and it's crazy to think how much the quadzilla is pulling the fueling down from stock and it's still pretty quick. Can't wait to get more mods and turn it up.

I def need to make my own thread. I would also like to have a YouTube channel. But I'm so busy I don't have time for either unless I can get a camera guy to follow me around. I wanna check out the video on the sensors for sure. I don't know for sure why my timing is so high at idle. Temps are negative and single digits here in Indiana but at certain times it will be hovering at 15 and with a blip of the throttle or a restart from say a drivethru and timing will drop back down. I would like to start making graphs for my data logging but I don't have Excel and don't really want to pay $150 just for the option of graphing. Really the antistall is the only problem I have with the 7x11 dap sac injectors. And like I said in my previous post I almost have it dialed out to where the trucks drives just like stock. Time will come and I will get a thread going and elborate more on my setup and future mods.

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
im only on page 7 as ive just found this thread. Ive been quiet for a while now. I have fuel boss mechanical pump setup i have a quad and a set of dap 7x11 sac. injectors and quad are great. truck starts way smoother and idles quieter. I have the 6 speed and i have an offidle problem that i nearly have dialed out with the quad. It involves fueling and timing adjustments. i have noticed however that it idles most of the time at 15.5 deg timing. the few times it drops to 11.6 it drives and takes off way smoother and antistall works great. hpw do i adjust idle timing? im interested in some testing and whatnot but need help with a dual disk clutch and headstuds for the project.
